POV[edit]

List of Portuguese companies[edit]

--Pc13 12:43, 29 October 2005 (UTC)[reply]

I found the Image:LocalCoimbra.png on Coimbra's article in Portuguese Wikipedia. Link: http://pt.wikipedia.org/wiki/Coimbra
Now they have another image (Imagem:LocalCoimbra.svg - in Portuguese Wikipedia), but it is very similar. If you remove the old one (Image:LocalCoimbra.png), place the new Imagem:LocalCoimbra.svg in substitution for Coimbra's article current image in English. Thank you. Thanks for the tip! The one on the Portuguese site is from the commons, and is freely licensed, so I replaced ours with that one like you said, the old one (which was smaller and greyscale) will get deleted, but we have the better one now! :D - cohesiontalk 19:43, 23 January 2006 (UTC)[reply]

An image you uploaded, Image:CBR.png, was tagged with the {{coatofarms}} copyright tag. This tag was deleted because it does not actually specify the copyright status of the image. The image may need a more accurate copyright tag, or it may need to be deleted. If the image portrays a seal or emblem, it should be tagged as {{seal}}. Fair use rationale for Image:CFUCoimbra.jpg[edit]

Thanks for uploading or contributing to Image:CFUCoimbra.jpg. Speedy deletion of Critical Software[edit]

A tag has been placed on Critical Software requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a company or corporation, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is notable: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not indicate the subject's importance or significance may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, as well as our subject-specific notability guideline for companies and corporations.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the article does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that a copy be emailed to you. Toddst1 (talk) 09:03, 12 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]
