Image without license[edit]

Unspecified source/license for File:Mytesttttimagexxx.png[edit]

Thanks for uploading File:Mytesttttimagexxx.png. The image has been identified as not specifying the copyright status of the image, which is required by Wikipedia's policy on images. Even if you created the image yourself, you still need to release it so Wikipedia can use it. If you don't indicate the copyright status of the image on the image's description page, using an appropriate copyright tag, it may be deleted some time after the next seven days. If you made this image yourself, you can use copyright tags like {{PD-self}} (to release all rights), {{self|CC-by-sa-3.0|GFDL}} (to require that you be credited), or any tag here - just go to the image, click edit, and add one of those. If you have uploaded other images, please verify that you have provided copyright information for them as well.

This is an automated notice by MifterBot. For assistance on the image use policy, see Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. NOTE: Once you correct this, please remove the tag from the image's page. --MifterBot (TalkContribsOwner) 23:45, 17 May 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Non-free rationale for File:Mytesttttimagexxx.png[edit]

Thanks for uploading or contributing to File:Mytesttttimagexxx.png. I notice the file page specifies that the file is being used under non-free content criteria, but there is not a suitable explanation or rationale as to why each specific use in Wikipedia is acceptable. Please go to the file description page, and edit it to include a non-free rationale.

If you have uploaded other non-free media, consider checking that you have specified the non-free rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'file' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free media lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described in section F6 of the criteria for speedy deletion. If the file is already gone, you can still make a request for undeletion and ask for a chance to fix the problem. If you have any questions, please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

ATTENTION: This is an automated, bot-generated message. This bot DID NOT nominate any file(s) for deletion; please refer to the page history of each individual file for details. Thanks, FastilyBot (talk) 03:00, 19 May 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Top 25 graphs[edit]

Thanks for the graphs you've been adding, but maybe the latest one needs a revision, I decided to remove a few redirect views. igordebraga 03:17, 30 May 2018 (UTC)[reply]

My pleasure. Sure, I just made some modifications based on changed data, and uploaded to the page. Let me know if anything else is needed. Thanks! --Beauty not Love (talk) 11:47, 30 May 2018 (UTC)[reply]

I pinged you in the talk page, but you haven't updated yet... (maybe I should try your tool myself later) igordebraga 01:17, 3 June 2018 (UTC)[reply]

I fixed two past reports where I got numbers wrong, but your graphs remain to be updated. Can you do something? igordebraga 16:07, 8 August 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Something weird in this week's graph: the latest Mission Impossible shows up as "new" when it was there in the last rank. Wonder what caused this. igordebraga 03:20, 22 August 2018 (UTC)[reply]

@Igordebraga:Thanks for checking, and sorry for the mistake! It seems the titles were slightly changed '-' (minus) was replaced with '–' (long dash) in the name, so it was detected as a different article. Fixed now.
And sorry to bother you again, but noticed I got some numbers wrong, another update is needed. igordebraga 14:44, 22 August 2018 (UTC)[reply]
Sure done.
Will you show up for the graph in my kinda late report? (wonder if anyone else learns to use your tool in your absence) igordebraga 06:24, 22 December 2018 (UTC)[reply]
I just put the code in an interactive environment so anyone can produce the chart for the current week. https://github.com/eliasdabbas/wikipedia_top_25 Beauty not Love (talk) 14:01, 22 December 2018 (UTC)[reply]

I need to stop forgetting to put the right numbers when doing the tables... ran your tool, a problem showed up (ValueError: Cannot specify ',' with 's'.), so can you update the chart? igordebraga 01:50, 8 February 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Yes, I saw, it's because one of the numbers had [1] so the whole column became strings. I fixed it, and uploaded. Will try to make sure the code takes this into consideration for the future. Thanks for checking.

Commons has claimed simply uploading what I do with your tool lacks proper licensing. Can you ask them what the problem is or at least save the latest one? igordebraga 02:42, 29 August 2019 (UTC)[reply]

I just added a license file to the GitHub repo granting all rights basically. https://github.com/eliasdabbas/wikipedia_top_25 Who do I ask? Is there a special page for clarifying the licensing issue? Thanks!

Maybe talk to the the one who questioned it and is now saying I need permission? igordebraga 16:22, 30 August 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Man, I need to stop forgetting to paste over the correct numbers. The graph is wrong now, can you correct it, please? (and do the next one as well, if possible; take your time) igordebraga 16:25, 28 November 2019 (UTC)[reply]

A barnstar for you![edit]

The Special Barnstar
For supplying excellent data illustrations to the Top 25 Report. They really complement the commentary and have vastly ameliorated the report as a whole, to the point of being as integral as the words themselves. Sincerest thanks, Stormy clouds (talk) 21:36, 23 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Stormy clouds Thanks for the barnstar! Glad you find the visualizations useful :)

New data visualization[edit]

  • Hi, Eliasdabbas - thanks for uploading the new data visualization of the Top 25 Report. However, I think there is an error in it owing to the page move and subsequent renaming of Atlanta murders of 1979-1981 which occurred midweek. Presently, owing to my using the incorrect link again, it is marked as being a new entry, when it featured at #2 last week under its previous guise. I don't know how difficult it would be to amend that, but I would appreciate it greatly.
Sorry, and thanks, Stormy clouds (talk) for checking! Just made the change.

Someone pointed out I had missed articles in this list, can you redo the graph? Thanks. igordebraga 14:41, 22 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Another one, if you can. igordebraga 01:54, 25 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]

igordebraga Sure, done. Beauty not Love (talk)

Don't know if you'll appear, but not only this week's graph is pending, but we gotta correct something in the previous one. igordebraga 16:19, 19 May 2020 (UTC)[reply]

igordebraga Both done. Thanks for letting me know! Beauty not Love (talk)

You've been MIA for over a month, but if possible, the Github app didn't work and thus two weeks have no chart. igordebraga 03:17, 25 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]

igordebraga Really sorry! I fixed both manually, though it's not clear why some data was missing! Beauty not Love (talk)

igordebraga Mcrsftdog Seems items 8 and 19 are in the wrong place, or wrong data maybe (Sep 20 - 26)? Beauty not Love (talk)

Wrong numbers, fixed them, you can do the same to the graph. igordebraga 16:02, 4 October 2020 (UTC)[reply]
igordebraga #16 The Boys seems to have more views than the previous few entries? Beauty not Love (talk)
Fixed that too, now there's no problems for a repost. igordebraga 01:27, 5 October 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Just today I fixed a glaring number mistake, and yet when I ran your tool it didn't work ("list index out of range"). Can you check it out? igordebraga 16:41, 28 June 2021 (UTC)[reply]

igordebraga Thanks for letting me know. I just tried, and it seems to be working, and I published this week's chart. Which week was it not working for?

The one you just did, June 13-19. Go figure why it decided not to work for me. (you can do the graph for this week too if you have the time) igordebraga 15:56, 29 June 2021 (UTC)[reply]

One of the week's co-writers updated the Top 25 page with last week's graph still undone - and after I tried the tool and it refused to work for me ('ValueError: invalid literal for int() with base 10:' and such). Can you do something for the two missing charts? igordebraga 22:52, 11 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]

igordebraga Sure, done.

Tried creating the latest graphs, and the app goes "list index out of range". What's wrong? igordebraga 14:31, 24 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]

The table is uaully the second table on the page, but sometimes it's changed. I just changed the index from 2 to 1 and it worked. Also uploaded the lates graph.
I'll think of a way to better handle this.
Thanks! Beauty not Love (talk) 00:42, 2 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]
