Traveling through Nicaragua sounded fun and inspiring. That must have been quite an experience. Expanding on the Fair Trade Movement would link nicely to that experience. The other topics sounded interesting as well. It could be interesting to see which topic you pick.

I think with your recent travel experience to Nicaragua it would be interesting for you to focus on Youth in Nicaragua, however since you have spent a whole semester in France it may be easier for you to talk about Youth in France!

Elle, as you know, I have also spent time abroad and am interested in doing my Wikipedia article on Youth in Rwanda. Some of my concerns with my own article are that even though I have spent time in the country I may not have had adequate experience with truly knowing what the youth experience is like. Do you see yourself having those sorts of troubles with Nicaragua or France? Are you worried about some of your biases towards those countries, based on your experiences, getting into your encyclopedia article? I know that even if you decide on something different, your passion on each of the areas that you have discussed on your page will bring about a great article. Good luck!

Hey Elle! All of your topics seem really interesting and relevant to your passions, do you know how you plan to stay neutral when dispersing information or how you plan to narrow them down? Regardless of which you choose, it seems that you are not only informed but passionate about your topic which will definitely help in compiling more research. Your proposal

Hi, ElleMegan - I like your plans to work on something you are invested in and interested in learning more about. I am skeptical about putting in a "youth" section into the article. My recommendation instead would be to incorporate information about youth into the relevant sections. Where would the "psychology of fair trade" fit? Examples of campus participation are discussed a bit in the paragraph under "general structure." In looking at this section, your task may be to rename and divide this section, which right now reads like a list with some things tacked on. In some ways, your ideas for edits point to a lack of sociological and psychological information in the article. Why do people in the Global North participate? Who are the major demographics in the GN and GS who get involved? You could change the general structure section into something more clear and concise, create a list of fair trade organizations, and then add some new sections that gave readers a sense of why key actors participate. Why are certain sectors more likely to get involved (e.g., students and people of

You could then consider moving some of the information to a list. Before doing this, you would definitely want to post your ideas to the talk page - which you should do regardless of how you decide to proceed.

Finally, I think it could be a noble project to work to meet the concerns about the article's quality to get it moved into the "good article" category.See the talk page.

Your sources are scholarly. Some of them about campus fair trade activism look like they will help develop your article section. What can you find about youth participation in fair trade farming? How will global south voices be included?

Please think about these issues as you develop your outline and write the section of the article. Additional tasks:

• Locating doi numbers for all journal articles and correctly format them for Wikipedia. You can do this as part of your article revisions in your sandbox.
• Creating a reference page and correct formatting of references in your sandbox
• Writing your first draft. I would love for you to get to as close to 2000 words as possible in your first draft of revisions, as you are already well on your way.
