A brownie for you![edit]

Thanks for helping out with the page Soju. I have some contributions there that you have found with minor typos, and I wanna personally thank you. Happy editing. EraKook (talk) 17:19, 27 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Wow thanks for that:) And regarding the typos on the 'Soju' article - no worries mate I'm happy to help, especially in ways that can increase Western/Anglophone readers' comprehension of beautiful cultural phenomena they're less likely to be familiar with;) Elysium0820 (talk) 12:15, 23 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Hi![edit]

Hi! Re:[1], Are you by any chance aware of WP:NOTBROKEN? --Guy Macon (talk) 13:41, 23 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Hi! No - I've not heard of this " WP:NOTBROKEN " actually. What is it about? Elysium0820 (talk) 12:00, 23 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Please click on the ---> WP:NOTBROKEN <--- link and read it. You have been "fixing" links that aren't broken. Please don't do that. --Guy Macon (talk) 15:55, 23 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]

After a painstaking review of everything, I regret that you're mistaken. I've not been "fixing links that aren't broken". I actually don't even know what that means.

Whilst reading a Wikipedia page that contains an unfamiliar subject (including but limited to: proper nouns, specialised terminology, obscure concepts, etc.) it is important to provide other readers a means of arriving at the existing Wikipedia page dedicated to that subject.

As such, upon confirming that such a page does indeed exist on Wikipedia, I merely edit by placing [[ ]] around the unfamiliar subject. I then test this edit by clicking on the newly added link - so long as it appears BLUE - to confirm that it does lead to the extant Wikipedia page. However if the link appears RED then I immediately know there has been some minor error of syntax in my edit which thus created a "broken link". This is my only experience of having created a "broken link" (albeit, briefly + unintentionally) in my Wikipedia edits. I always correct these straight away by re-editing my edit, which has only ever been a matter of fixing my own typo in the specialised/unfamiliar term OR fixing autocorrect-induced syntax errors which caused the "broken" (RED) link. Disambiguation link notification for April 27[edit]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Kesari (Ramayana), you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Gokarna. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

It's OK to remove this message. Also, to stop receiving these messages, follow these opt-out instructions. Thanks, DPL bot (talk) 05:56, 27 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]
