Unspecified source for Image:Satan, First Angel.jpg

Thanks for uploading Image:Satan, First Angel.jpg. I notice the file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you have not created this file yourself, then there needs to be an argument why we have the right to use it on Wikipedia (see copyright tagging below). If you did not create the file yourself, then you need to specify where it was found, i.e., in most cases link to the website where it was taken from, and the terms of use for content from that page.

If the file also doesn't have a copyright tag, then one should be added. If you created/took the picture, audio, or video then the {{GFDL-self}} tag can be used to release it under the GFDL. If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Fair use, use a tag such as {{Non-free fair use in|article name}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:Image copyright tags#Fair_use. See Wikipedia:Image copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their source and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link. Unsourced and untagged images may be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Nandesuka 21:18, 10 July 2006 (UTC)

Warning
Warning

Please refrain from undoing other people's edits repeatedly, as you are doing at 300 (film). If you continue, you may be blocked from editing Wikipedia. Note that the three-revert rule prohibits making more than three reversions in a content dispute within a 24 hour period. Additionally, users who perform a large number of reversions in content disputes may be blocked for edit warring, even if they do not technically violate the three-revert rule. Rather than reverting, discuss disputed changes on the talk page. The revision you want is not going to be implemented by edit warring. Thank you. -- tariqabjotu 20:43, 9 April 2007 (UTC)

Disputed fair use rationale for Image:McDuck Castle.jpg

Thanks for uploading Image:McDuck Castle.jpg. However, there is a concern that the rationale you have provided for using this image under "fair use" may be invalid. Please read the instructions at Wikipedia:Non-free content carefully, then go to the image description page and clarify why you think the image qualifies for fair use. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If it is determined that the image does not qualify under fair use, it will be deleted within a couple of days according to our criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot (talk) 18:46, 2 January 2008 (UTC)

I have nominated Holly Body, an article you created, for deletion. Sourcing/BLP

Please MAKE SURE you source any claims you add to the article particularly concerning living people. In particular your change here [1] was HIGHLY inappropriate as you did not add any refs to support the claim. As it stands, the ref provided didn't even mention any charge but thats not your fault. The ref I found which is Greek and used in the article [2] does in fact say he was charged with intentional manslaughter. Another ref I found and added [3] also mentions manslaughter not murder. I don't care whether all Greek media says he was charged with murder, unless you provide a reliable secondary source, be it Greek or otherwise DO NOT make unsupported claims particularly about living people in wikipedia articles. Nil Einne (talk) 12:34, 8 December 2008 (UTC)

  • Well, the sources are plain wrong, 'cause it's been going around since yesterday in the media in Greece that he was charged with intentional murder. The Internet sources have got it wrong as it so often happens with "raw" information fresh from the sight. I won't change it back for lack of Internet sources, but it will soon be corrected. --Chatzaras (talk) 13:16, 8 December 2008 (UTC)
