If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Archana Mosale requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a real person or group of people, but it does not credibly indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. reddogsix (talk) 03:53, 1 September 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Praveen Tej moved to draftspace[edit]

An article you recently created, Praveen Tej, does not have enough sources and citations as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. MrClog (talk) 15:06, 1 September 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Have verified the authenticity of the existing links as well as corrected the markup mistakes in the references. I was not able to find more reliable links for now, other than the ones already cited on the article, will update soon if I do. The person in question, although not an internationally known celebrity, is a noted actor in Kannada cinema. Do let me know if I need to curate any more information in these lines. A tag has been placed on File:Apoorva Gowda (actress).jpg requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section F9 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the file appears to be a blatant copyright infringement. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images taken from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.

If the image belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use it — which means allowing other people to use it for any reason — then you must verify that externally by one of the processes explained at Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials. The same holds if you are not the owner but have their permission. If you are not the owner and do not have permission, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission for how you may obtain it. You might want to look at Wikipedia's copyright policy for more details, or ask a question here.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. March 2020[edit]

Information icon

Hello Eminem1316. The nature of your edits gives the impression you have an undisclosed financial stake in promoting a topic, such as the edit you made to Nimika Ratnakar, but you have not complied with Wikipedia's mandatory paid editing disclosure requirements. Paid advocacy is a category of conflict of interest (COI) editing that involves being compensated by a person, group, company or organization to use Wikipedia to promote their interests. Undisclosed paid advocacy is prohibited by our policies on neutral point of view and what Wikipedia is not, and is an especially egregious type of COI; the Wikimedia Foundation regards it as a "black hat" practice akin to black-hat SEO.

Paid advocates are very strongly discouraged from direct article editing, and should instead propose changes on the talk page of the article in question if an article exists, and if it does not, from attempting to write an article at all. At best, any proposed article creation should be submitted through the articles for creation process, rather than directly.

Regardless, if you are receiving or expect to receive compensation for your edits, broadly construed, you are required by the Wikimedia Terms of Use to disclose your employer, client and affiliation. You can post such a mandatory disclosure to your user page at User:Eminem1316. The template {{Paid}} can be used for this purpose – e.g. in the form: {{paid|user=Eminem1316|employer=InsertName|client=InsertName}}. If I am mistaken – you are not being directly or indirectly compensated for your edits – please state that in response to this message. Otherwise, please provide the required disclosure. In either case, do not edit further until you answer this message. JK (talk) 20:51, 15 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Update on Nimika Ratnakar[edit]

Hello JK, glad to see the clear explanation of the process involved with paid edits. In line with this, let me make it clear that I have not been directly or indirectly compensated for any of my edits, in any form. As mentioned earlier, my usual activity with articles involves around pages to do with Kannada cinema, Kannada literature and locations in and around Karnataka. Moreover, this particular actress is a well known actress in the Kannada cinema without a particular biography page, hence the reason for my edit. Beyond that, I occasionally search for editing activities related to these domains and suggest to create or edit articles, I couldn't possibly be personally connected to all of the people involved with the pages I edit.

Having said that, this article does meet all the criteria for Wikipedia:Notability and at the same time I have tried to write it with a neutral point of view to the best of my ability. Do review my comment and hopefully you will reconsider the deletion of the page Nimika Ratnakar. If there are any further edits you wish me to do to keep the article in line with our content policies, do let me know. Thanks. Eminem1316 (talk) 11:36, 19 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Hi there, I'm HasteurBot. I just wanted to let you know that Draft:Praveen Tej, a page you created, has not been edited in 5 months. The Articles for Creation space is not an indefinite storage location for content that is not appropriate for articlespace.

If your submission is not edited soon, it could be nominated for deletion. If you would like to attempt to save it, you will need to improve it.

You may request Userfication of the content if it meets requirements.

If the deletion has already occured, instructions on how you may be able to retrieve it are available at WP:REFUND/G13.

Thank you for your attention. HasteurBot (talk) 01:27, 16 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Your submission at Articles for creation: Nimika Ratnakar (July 8)[edit]

Your recent article submission has been rejected. If you have further questions, you can ask at the Articles for creation help desk or use Wikipedia's real-time chat help. The reason left by Chris troutman was: This topic is not sufficiently notable for inclusion in Wikipedia. The comment the reviewer left was: This is promotional in nature. The subject fails WP:NACTOR and WP:ANYBIO. I don't think general notability reaches this low.
