Welcome![edit]

Hello, Emmmm.Ayyyy., and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions.

I noticed that one of the first articles you edited was Rooster's Brewery, which appears to be dealing with a topic with which you may have a conflict of interest. In other words, you may find it difficult to write about that topic in a neutral and objective way, because you are, work for, or represent, the subject of that article. Your recent contributions may have already been undone for this very reason.

To reduce the chances of your contributions being undone, you might like to draft your revised article before submission, and then ask me or another editor to proofread it. See our help page on userspace drafts for more details. If the page you created has already been deleted from Wikipedia, but you want to save the content from it to use for that draft, don't hesitate to ask anyone from this list and they will copy it to your user page.

One rule we do have in connection with conflicts of interest is that accounts used by more than one person will unfortunately be blocked from editing. Wikipedia generally does not allow editors to have usernames which imply that the account belongs to a company or corporation. If you have a username like this, you should request a change of username or create a new account. (A name that identifies the user as an individual within a given organization may be OK.)

In addition, if you receive, or expect to receive, compensation for any contribution you make, you must disclose your employer, client, and affiliation to comply with our terms of use and our policy on paid editing.

Here are some pages that you might find helpful:

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Please sign your messages on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically insert your username and the date. If you need help, check out Wikipedia:Questions, ask me on my talk page, or ask your question on this page and then place {{Help me}} before the question. Again, welcome! Why would you say I have a conflict of interest? It was suggested from the Suggested Edits page as a place to practice. I don't have any connection to the company. Emmmm.Ayyyy. (talk) 19:16, 25 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Asking about a possible conflict of interest is fairly routine when an editor has only edited on a single subject. Your declaration here that you have no connection is good enough to answer the query. — jmcgnh(talk) (contribs) 20:37, 25 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Ok thanks. It was a suggested topic for editing practice on the Home Page Suggested Edits. Emmmm.Ayyyy. (talk) 20:39, 25 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Ammon Bundy and PRN[edit]

I think that there are enough sources and enough incidents to qualify the PRN for its own article. Ammon Bundy#People's Rights Network There is the formation in 2020, the water standoff in 2021, the incidents of PRN involvement with Bundy's crusade against St. Lukes Hospital in 2022 and also in the court case in 2023 up to the jury decision this month.

Can someone help me with the right way to propose or request this creation? @VQuakr had said "If sourced content grows to the point that a stand-alone article makes sense, we can discuss a split" but it does not seem responses to posting to the talk page get responses. Emmmm.Ayyyy. (talk) 19:07, 28 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]

I'll leave this up for someone uninvolved to have a look, but I think this topic is still best covered in the Bundy article rather than stand-alone. To more directly answer your question: the "right way" to formally propose splitting is described at WP:PROSPLIT. VQuakr (talk) 19:36, 28 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]
VQuakr is right that WP:PROSPLIT describes the process for potentially contentious split discussions. Participants in the discussion will want to know which of the reasons at WP:WHENSPLIT apply. Before starting the discussion, you might consider expanding the existing section (so as to justify a size-based split) or creating a draft article so participants can see how a standalone article might be preferable. Firefangledfeathers (talk / contribs) 20:10, 28 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]
I don't think I am experienced enough to create a draft article. Part of my thinking is that the coverage of the 2021 water standoff shows Bundy less involved than the other events, though PRN is still mentioned in all of the coverage. Emmmm.Ayyyy. (talk) 21:20, 28 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Feel free to take it slow! I think I was 1000 edits in before I created my first article. Drafts are a very low-stakes place, and you could also create a subpage in your userspace like User:Emmmm.Ayyyy./Bundy. Firefangledfeathers (talk / contribs) 01:29, 29 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]
@Firefangledfeathers and @VQuakr, I used an online word counter and the article on Ammon Bundy is at 5000 words. Emmmm.Ayyyy. (talk) 16:09, 29 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Sounds about right. I'm also seeing (using this prosesize gadget) that the Bundy article is about 29 kB, which according to WP:SIZESPLIT "rule of thumb" puts it in the "Length alone does not justify division" category. Firefangledfeathers (talk / contribs) 16:27, 29 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]
@Firefangledfeathers I'm not saying length alone. There are instances where Bundy seems to be less involved than others like the 2021 Klamath water thing. The reporting from IREHR is quite extensive on the ties to some other organizations and there are also a number of other sections that are already split off. Emmmm.Ayyyy. (talk) 16:46, 29 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]
I didn't mean to imply that you're proposing a split based on length alone. I'm just trying to provide info! Firefangledfeathers (talk / contribs) 16:47, 29 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]
@Firefangledfeathers@VQuakr for now I am going to continue expanding the section but I am not familiar with creating subpages or drafts. The links you provided don't give much help. It seems like wikipedia isn't really set up to help people learn these things but you expect people to just understand the links and the acronyms? Emmmm.Ayyyy. (talk) 20:02, 29 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Expanding the section is a great move. There's advice on how to create a subpage here. You're right that there's a lot to learn. Some people have a good experience with The Wikipedia Adventure, a learning tool. Firefangledfeathers (talk / contribs) 20:08, 29 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Note that multiple accounts are allowed, but not for illegitimate reasons, and any contributions made while evading blocks or bans may be reverted or deleted.
If you think there are good reasons why you should be unblocked, you should review the guide to appealing blocks, and then appeal your block by adding the following text below this notice: {{unblock|Your reason here ~~~~}}. Note that anything you post in your unblock request will be public, so you may alternatively use the Unblock Ticket Request System to submit an appeal if it contains information that must be private.

Request reason:

This makes no sense. I definitely am not anybody's sockpuppet. I have just barely learned to exit on Wikipedia while stuck on rest with a broken foot.

Decline reason:

It sounds like you've already decided to move on, which is probably for the best given that you've got at least one sock puppet. NinjaRobotPirate (talk) 03:46, 5 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

I am definitely not a sockpuppet, and Guerillero is definitely mistaken. I am barely used to any editing on wikpiedia, I just started trying while on doctor ordered rest with a broken foot. I tried to ask for your help on your realtime help, but I was given a run around and then STW and Dragonfly6-7 threatented me. I don't even want to try any more, it's clear after FMSky used this FALSE claim to remove my edits that wikipedia is a right wing 100% fraudulent site that doesn't care about facts or reliable sources.

Don't use the Help me template while blocked.--Bbb23 (talk) 23:28, 4 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]
