Orphaned non-free image File:Sisters of Mary School Girlstown Cavite.jpg[edit]

⚠

Thanks for uploading File:Sisters of Mary School Girlstown Cavite.jpg. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

Note that any non-free images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described in the criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. --B-bot (talk) 19:22, 3 January 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Replaceable fair use File:The Sisters of Mary School-Boystown, Minglanilla Campus.jpg[edit]

Thanks for uploading File:The Sisters of Mary School-Boystown, Minglanilla Campus.jpg. I noticed that this file is being used under a claim of fair use. However, I think that the way it is being used fails the first non-free content criterion. This criterion states that files used under claims of fair use may have no free equivalent; in other words, if the file could be adequately covered by a freely-licensed file or by text alone, then it may not be used on Wikipedia. If you believe this file is not replaceable, please:

  1. Go to the file description page and add the text {{di-replaceable fair use disputed|<your reason>}} below the original replaceable fair use template, replacing <your reason> with a short explanation of why the file is not replaceable.
  2. On the file discussion page, write a full explanation of why you believe the file is not replaceable.

Alternatively, you can also choose to replace this non-free media item by finding freely licensed media of the same subject, requesting that the copyright holder release this (or similar) media under a free license, or by creating new media yourself (for example, by taking your own photograph of the subject).

If you have uploaded other non-free media, consider checking that you have specified how these media fully satisfy our non-free content criteria. You can find a list of description pages you have edited by clicking on this link. Note that even if you follow steps 1 and 2 above, non-free media which could be replaced by freely licensed alternatives will be deleted 2 days after this notification (7 days if uploaded before 13 July 2006), per the non-free content policy. If you have any questions, please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Majora (talk) 22:10, 3 January 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Blocked[edit]

I've blocked you indefinitely for uploading copyright content (articles and images) to English Wikipedia, and for attempting to hide the fact that Miokio (talk · contribs) is an alternative account of yours. You may request an unblock at any point but before you will be unblocked, you will need to demonstrate you have read and understood the complexities of the copyright policies (and also our alternative account policies/guidelines). I have blocked your alternative account also at this time as I'm not satisfied you understand enough about either copyright or alternative accounts to be trusted with a second account. Nick (talk) 11:33, 4 January 2017 (UTC)[reply]

This user's unblock request has been reviewed by an administrator, who declined the request. Other administrators may also review this block, but should not override the decision without good reason (see the blocking policy).

Request reason:

Sir Nick please unblock my account it was never be my intention to violate or the break the Copyright rules, in the first place I already asked the owner of it to use those images for the purpose of its article I'm not doing this for my own self and I'm sorry for it, I'm looking forward to hear from you soon,, your response is highly appreciated! thank and God bless 🙂 Empuerts (talk) 11:56, 4 January 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Decline reason:

As of right now, the user has demonstrated no understanding of our copyright policies. Yamla (talk) 12:50, 4 January 2017 (UTC)[reply]

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

Please explain, in detail, our copyright policy here. We have to be certain you know this before we can consider unblocking. Nick (talk) 12:07, 4 January 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Sir Nick my explanation about copyright policy is broad acceptance among editors and describe standards that all users should normally follow and they are closely related to the five pillars of Wikipedia. Empuerts (talk) 12:22, 4 January 2017 (UTC)[reply]

He was asking you to show your comprehension of the copyright part, not the policy part. You did not address the copyright part in the slightest, and your unblock request actually seems to indicate that you haven't properly studied that part yet. Request reason:

I was not aware of the warnings from before. Though I will not reason that anymore. What I want to say is I believe that the files that I uploaded after the warning, all uploads after File:Sisters of Mary School Girlstown Cavite.jpg, File:The Sisters of Mary School-Boystown, Minglanilla Campus.jpg File:The Sisters of Mary School-Girlstown, Talisay Campus.jpg and so on...all of these images are coming from a facebook page album of the copyright holder I try to message them for permission but unfortunately no response at all and that's late already, my mistake is I wasn't able to provide a written permission from copyright holder allowing it to be posted on Wikipedia. The second things I was not aware also that using multiple account here on wikipedia is strictly prohibited, upon reading the rules here on wikipedia, lately I discovered that it is a multiple user account abuse and that automatically block as consequence. If I misunderstood the instructions and rules, or left some details to add for licensing, then I ask for your permission to unblock me, so that I can fix my mistakes.I also want to apologize for my violations last time. Thanks for your time! Empuerts (talk) 11:06, 10 January 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Decline reason:

You still haven't demonstrated an understanding of copyright issues. Please read the following pages: WP:Copyrights, WP:COPYVIO, and c:COM:OTRS. (Note that the last page is on the Wikimedia Commons, but it's a far better explanation of our permissions system than exists on the English Wikipedia. Most of the content applies here, especially the sections detailing what must be sent through OTRS.) You're welcome to file another unblock request when you can demonstrate that you've read those pages and fully understand their contents. ~ Rob13Talk 17:13, 13 January 2017 (UTC)[reply]
