This page is a User subpage containing my signature, for use as a template. I have always avoided signature templates because of the theoretical concern that they burden WP servers. I therefore created this page with some reluctance. It appears however to be the simplest solution to a problem having to do with a fellow editor's use of an unusual browser that alters some Wikipedians' signatures. I'm not placing the templated form in my sig preferences, but will manually use it only on pages where this problem is likely to surface (for example, certain AfD subpages). I think this solution best addresses the problem. If you have any concerns over this page, please post here and I'll respond as soon as I can. Update: I only ever used the template three times, as the literal Unicode-text browser problem was solved by Curps and Fvw almost immediately after this usersubpage was created. In any case, I simplified my sig very soon after, rendering the matter of no consequence. Leaving these posts as a record. Have substed the three pages.
