Station Layout

Hello Epicgenius. As you may have noticed, I have made several adjustments to the station layouts on the New York City Subway station artciles. One of the adjustments I have made was I removed the "A" express train symbol. However, I recently noticed it was put back. My reasons for the replacement were the "A" express train is only used in the timetable as an "eye-catcher" to riders reading the timetable. It is not used on trains, maps, or in stations, and the other station layouts served by routes only during rush hours do not use diamonds (like "B" express train or "5" express train) and putting emphasis on the "A" express train could be misleading to others. However, if you and the other users feel that it is necessary to use a diamond to differentiate the special rush hour only A trips, I will acknowledge your decision and leave it alone. Thank you. Thanks for the clarification. I thought the diamond bullet was still used on maps, but I will discontinue any further usage of the diamond. However, I will keep the "A" express train bullet for the Rockaway Beach branch to differentiate it from the "A" train mainline. Epicgenius(talk to mesee my contributions) 11:31, 1 July 2013 (UTC)
Your welcome. And that sounds okay. Mysteryman557 (talk) 11:57, 1 July 2013 (UTC)
Also, I have made them a little more simpler by only using the terminals published on the MTA Service Guide, such as removing "Dyckman Street" from the "A" train or Kings Highway from the "F" train Mysteryman557 (talk) 13:30, 1 July 2013 (UTC)

Declined speedy deletion

I have declined your speedy deletion nomination of Novosel kukes as "nonsense", as the article is not nonsense at all, as a quick check at Google translate shows. There may well be other good reasons for deletion, but not that one. JamesBWatson (talk) 14:14, 4 July 2013 (UTC)

Okay. Sorry about that, I can't read Albanian and I didn't really check to see if it was in another language. The article, however, may be non-notable, so I'll check it again. Epicgenius(talk to mesee my contributions) 14:19, 4 July 2013 (UTC)
No, I don't read Albanian either, but whenever an article looks as though it may be in a foreign language, it's worth a quick check on Google, which probably well over 90% of the time will identify a foreign language if it is one. Some Wikipedias have "written in a foreign language" as a criterion for speedy deletion, and in my opinion it would save a lot of trouble if English Wikipedia had it too, but we don't. The article looks to me borderline for deletion as promotion, but as it is only borderline I have given its author a note about the problems, and allowed time for a rewrite. Feel welcome to rewrite it yourself if you feel like doing so, or, if you don't, and see no improvement in a day or so, feel welcome to contact me, and I'll consider deleting it. References

Regarding your edit to Monégasque passport. There are at least two ways to show references, either with the ref in brackets after the sentence, without a reflist, or by using the ref markup with a reflist like you changed it to, which is more common. Either is acceptable. But if you change it to the ref markup, please also at least delete the brackets, otherwise you have a case where only [1] shows up under references, instead of the full web address. Or even better is add a title within the brackets so that will show up under References. I've done that now for this article. Thank you. 69.95.62.36 (talk) 00:38, 7 July 2013 (UTC)

re your editing comments on my links and style of references

1. your comments on my having no links are still there, despite my having subsequently added links. does this mean my links are unacceptable. please indicate briefly why. 2. i have four refs (some articles get by with two). you ask for additional refs. how many? 3. i note your dissatisfaction with the format of my refs. i will follow the hel section on this and bring them into the convention required. 4. the orphan will get links soon. 5. i am sorry to have angered you by using email.i merely followed the invitation on the page, being an easily persuaded fellow. Sorry for sounding so rough in my e-mail. I'll look at the page again to see if the tags are necessary. In the meantime, I'd suggest having at least one reference for every paragraph or so. Epicgenius(talk to mesee my contributions) 23:37, 8 July 2013 (UTC)

The article 1100 (number) has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

No evidence that this number is notable.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion.
