Welcome from a fellow editor! I'd be glad to help improve you that article, but you need to be aware of some policies first. The biggest one is our policy regarding conflict of interest. The gist of that policy is that it is ok to edit with a conflict of interest, but you need to write in a neutral manner and provide sources for any facts. Once you start editing the article, others will also make changes which you may disagree with. There is no article ownership and you would need to reach a reach a consensus with the other editors about the content of the article.
