Welcome![edit]

Hello, Ericwriter, and welcome to Wikipedia! I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Unfortunately, one or more of the pages you created, such as 100% Records, may not conform to some of Wikipedia's content policies and may not be retained. In short, the topic of an article must be notable and have already been the subject of publication by reliable and independent sources.

Please review Your first article for an overview of the article creation process. The Article Wizard is available to help you create an article, where it will be reviewed and considered for publication. For information on how to request a new article that can be created by someone else, see Requested articles. If you are stuck, come to the Teahouse, where experienced Wikipedians can help you through the processes.

New to Wikipedia? Please consider taking a look at our introductory tutorial or reviewing the contributing to Wikipedia page to learn the basics about editing. Below are a few other good pages about article creation.

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Please sign your name on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically produce your name and the date. If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on 100% Records requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a person, a group of people, an individual animal, an organization (band, club, company, etc.), web content, or an organized event that does not credibly indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. 100%[edit]

Hi Eric. There's an issue with the referencing. As you can see at WP:NOTRSMUSIC, Discogs is not suitable for Wikipedia. It may also be worth familiarising yourself with WP:RS, which states that secondary sources are preferred to primary sources (in this case, 100% itself).

I cannot find the reliable sourcing to merit a Wikipedia article for 100% Records. If your article is deleted, you can ask the deleting admin for a copy of your work, although I would wait until reliable sources become available before rebuilding. Take care, Paulie302 (talk) 17:23, 7 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Paulie, thank you for clarifying!
I have now inserted other citations which I believe are from reputable fonts accepted by Wikipedia. I had read the article, but I missed the information where it stated that Discogs wasn't suitable. I have seen it cited on other pages, hence my confusion.
I hope everything is right now! Ericwriter (talk) 17:52, 7 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Nomination of 100% Records for deletion[edit]

A discussion is taking place as to whether the article 100% Records, to which you have significantly contributed, is suitable for inclusion in Wikipedia according to Wikipedia's policies and guidelines or if it should be deleted.

The discussion will take place at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/100% Records (2nd nomination) until a consensus is reached, and anyone, including you, is welcome to contribute to the discussion. Users may edit the article during the discussion, including to improve the article to address concerns raised in the discussion. However, do not remove the article-for-deletion notice from the top of the article.
