I disagree with your assessment of the aforementioned comment about Shaun Cameron Wright-Phillips. This fact is backed by numerous respectable sources such as Chris Wright of Who ate all the Pies in this Venn Diagram and Pointless Drive! argues;

"He (SWP) reminds me of the kids I used to play football with at school, who would kick the ball into the farthest corner of the playground where no-one else could be bothered to chase it; winning the ball from everyone else by sheer, mindless, attrition. The trouble is — just like those kids I played with — once SWP has the ball, the odds are he’ll do something absolutely pointless with it. If SWP is not running head first into a centre half twice his size, then he’s playing the ball into utterly unproductive positions. Yes Shaun, if you run the ball into a tight corner — thirty yards and an impossible angle from goal — you achieve precisely nothing. Like the kids in the playground, kicking the ball miles from where the game was actually taking place, you also have the ball all to yourself. Well done lad. Unfortunately, although it is a simple game, football ain’t that simple. Which brings me onto my next, and strongest, complaint about SWP. What is the point of a winger who can’t cross the ball? But SWP is a right-footer, cannot even cross from the right wing! But look the pictures on the wiki page and it's obvious, in the same way that Feendish resembles Fester from the Addams family. But unfortunately it is your observation and your opinion that it is obvious. And you are heading it as an 'External influence' when you have no idea whether it was or not. It could just be a co-incidence. If you believe it would be a useful addition to the article then please do add some description of them. If you can include a good source to cite, then please do that also. The problem with a blog is that anyone can start a blog, they don't need to have any authority or expertise on the subject. Are there no other cites available? I fixed the Donna Karan page to represent the facts more accurately as you had pointed out. When an editor blanks a section for no reason, as you clearly did, I will fight that censorship with all my powers, as little as they be. Right ok thats fine but just please don't delete big sections of the content straight away, let us know it is wrong and we can fix it, there is no need to just delete everything you personally see as opinion because the section on Frankie Boyle was not at all how you made it out to be. Sorry, have to disagree

Rude Britain and Unintentional humor already existed, and in some cases these articles already had an incomplete form of this template in their own "See also" section. One would have 10 entries, another would only list 3, etc. It's goofy, but encyclopedic information - I only thought to do this after I went looking for this very info myself, and had a hard time with the piecemeal stuff around. On the other hand, the template box (and the "See alsos" before it) does "ramp up" the level of vulgarity in an article, which should be hidden from viewers who don't want it... It is in-so-far that the fact there is an article on a subject, does not mean you can then apply that subject to other articles according to your own opinion. How about if I think that certain cities are really good places for a short break. And I'm sure I could find some books I could reference on the subject of good places for a vacation. Can I collate these cities together in a category? I used to be listed for 2 years on Wiki when the artists were self monitoring. I understand that now there is a policy that one has to have an article on wiki in order to be recognized? And it can't be done by oneself, correct? Orbit, I need some help on how to reply properly! I read a variety of things, but could not figure out how to respond to your comment. I wanted to thank you for your response. It is helpful. I was curious how Michael Kirby who was listed in the body of the street painting article could be listed. He was removed a couple of times too. I would suggest that he is self promoting, and although he is a a street painter, has not really risen to the level of meritorious work. He has primarily been commercial and his trips to Europe may be self funded. I don't see any citations or references, and I am curious how he can be legitimated on the Wiki encyclopedia format. You recently deleted unreferenced items in Appearances in Other Media including similarity between opening saxophone phrase in "Being with you" by Smokey Robinson and second saxophone phrase in "Baker Street". Because any comparison of the songs that requires a Wikipedia editor, or reader, to listen to both and reach a conclusion about it, is original research, which is not permitted on Wikipedia. It can be very frustrating Jim Roland when you either perceive a truth,or lived through an event which would improve an article but run up against the cliff of Original Research. Especially if your information is superior to someone who simply managed to find a publisher for their book. Maybe there is room in the world for a wiki devoted entirely to original research or for one devoted to gossip and conjecture. They could even have a slogan-"it's the stuff that Wikipedia rejects that makes Wikioriginal the best." Might be a lot of lawsuits though. This excellent site has a medium sized database of cases but the two songs are not on it.[[3]] It is possible some reviewer from a reputable newspaper remarked on the similarity in a review around the time the SR song came out but you would probably have to pay or travel for archive access.Robinson may also have conceded a similarity in an interview round that time. A final thought -musicians are often generous people and Rafferty may have heard it but accepted it as an homage rather than a rip off, there are only so many notes after all.

Alas, this is why Wikipedia lives by the policy of Verifiability not Truth. Truth can be a slippery thing, and it's very easy to find people on the internet with two completely opposing versions of it. If Wikipedia relied on "it's true, I swear" as a basis of inclusion, it would quickly fill with opposing versions of every fact under the sun, and in all fairness have to give equal respect to crackpot theories and ridiculous conjecture.

I'm not saying this particular idea is ridiculous, but whether they sound the same or not (and I'm not convinced), is a matter of opinion. And the opinion of experts is what counts really. Plenty of plagiarism court cases rest on the testimony of experts because, well, other opinions can't be trusted and are not notable. -Escape Orbit ^(Talk) 22:21, 14 January 2011 (UTC)

I apologize for the name calling but as you can see in the discussion, as soon as I posted a comment Niteshift36 jumped all over me and instead of conversing in constructive conversation he used sarcasm and came off as a biased person concerning this page. Yes I did get frustrated and say things I shouldn't have but I AM a human being and expect to be treated as such. I don't mean to bring malice upon anybody on this site and I expect the same in return. He is extremely unhelpful and critical, whereas you pointed out constructive criticism concerning my posts which I appreciate. That's all I ask for, if I made a mistake let me know what it is in a mature manner. I can see that Niteshift36 has a history of negative comments against other members on Wikipedia and has received citations stating as much. I would prefer he stay off the topic as he is hindering any and all progress attempting to be made. I have no problem with people disputing info that I post, I would just appreciate a little respect. Thank you for your comments and I will try to reference these uploads better. I'm not trying to "prove" anything as much as I am just trying to add information to the topic.

It's not edit warring I have made two edits which remove uncited content, also not section blanking as I put in new material, report me if you want but I wont be blocked. I have frequently tried to improve the material but some other editors keep blanket reverting my edits. Please do try and improve the page, hopefully you can write a decent, unbiased version. Gravitis, Freebord, and Freeboard

Hey, I noticed you added a couple of edits to the Gravitis article. Do you happen to know anything about it, Freebord, and freeboarding? I know nothing -- it all just happened to show up on my watchlist. As I get deeper into all of this crap there appears to be a lot of coi and promotional stuff going on but dealing with people whose command of English isn't that good and keep jumping around to different IPs is wearing me out. I'm thinking one of the articles needs to be merged into the other and that one renamed to the name of the company and then rewritten to remove all of the promotional stuff (i.e., stubbified). Da Vinci Hotel & Art Gallery

Thank you for your comments on my offering to Wikipedia. Your advice was more helpful that the previous editor who seemed to offer no tolerance to the fact that I only joined today...and let me tell you this has been a steep learning curve.

The article intended to offer information on the art (in its broadest sense) in and around Eastbourne. The da Vinci Hotel & Art Gallery in a not for profit organisation working with local artists to provide a venue for their work.

I also wish to illustrate the wealth of artistic opportunity in and around Eastbourne including the Towner Art Gallery, theatres and a wealth of museums, churches and farms with artistic connections.

I am trying to feel my way through this minefield and the page is a work in progress. I do not feel that the Eastbourne page is a suitable venue for the content as it will easily get lost there.

At present I am unable to upload pictures to illustrate the art work (as I have not been a member long enough) but I have been able to make use of the commons to upload some photos to ensure that the article is more reader friendly.

If I have failed in this, then I apologise and will take the page down as I am beginning to wonder whether all the research and effort have been worth it
