Rather like the extended quote from Sloan - but is it just a little TOO extended? Realise you have picked a passage from a long essay, but I feel a little editing (with "[...]" marks) to show where you have cut what Sloan said) may make the quote even more telling. Another thing is that when we are quoting an author, even if we are acknowledging him in the body of our text, we also need a footnote giving an exact cite (including page number if appropriate). Really better if you do these things yourself. In this spirit, I have not even corrected (at least not yet) the obvious typos in th last line of your edit.--Soundofmusicals (talk) 22:37, 31 December 2012 (UTC)[reply]
