New article[edit]

it seems to me that the articles are the same. The both link to exact same sources. If you think that there is a problem with article (it's name or otherwise) talk about it on the talk page of the article (Talk:List of countries by GDP (real) growth rate). Please see Wikipedia:Naming conventions to understand what is a good name for an article. ::Wikipedia uses it own markup language for tables (see Help:Table) and an excel table is not readily convertible. Again, I suggest that you look over the article List of countries by GDP (real) growth rate and describe on the talk page what you think need improvement. Yes, that very page urged me to create my own one. The page in question lacks correction for population growth, whereas mine does not. Well, that is, if I can manage to upload the table at all. Please help. Thanks

it is better to correct and expand an exsiting page than to create your own. However you should discuss on the talk page of the article any major changes before you do them. In this case there may be a problem original Synthesis of data which is prohibited on wikipedia. If you have a source for this correction that would be fine.

as far the the excel chart goes, if you can save the excel file to a HTML file (web page) do so. the cut and page the actual HTML (may require you to right click and open with notepad) to here:User:Etidepeti\table. then at least other people can see what you have done and we can discuss what to do about it. exactly. What I did is correct the real growth rate (just corrected for inflation) also for population growth. This is a better measure for the increase in average standard of living for a country.

Hi Etienne, I have moved UserEtidepeti\table to User:Etidepeti\table, now it really is in your user space (note the colon after "User"). You can see your user sub pages here. Hi thanks. What I found there is how to do it by hand. editing every singe cell is quite time consuming though. Is there no easier way?
