February 2022[edit]

Information icon Hello, I'm Jochem van Hees. I noticed that you recently removed all content from Slovakia in the Eurovision Song Contest 2013. Please do not do this. Blank pages are harmful to Wikipedia because they have a tendency to confuse readers. As a rule, if you discover a duplicate article, please redirect it to an appropriate existing page. If a page has been vandalised, please revert it to the last legitimate version. If you feel that the content of a page is inappropriate, please edit the page and replace it with appropriate content. If you believe there is no hope for the page, please see the deletion policy for how to proceed. If this was a mistake, don't worry; the removed content has been restored. If you wish to experiment, please use your sandbox. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. "More sources needed" is not the same as "needs expansion"[edit]

Hi. Regarding you tagging Jezebel (The Rasmus song), there is not a claim on the page that is unsourced. Template:More sources needed is the tag you use when there are unsourced bits of information and you want to say the article overall needs more sources instead of tagging all the bits individually. If you mean needs expansion, sure, but the article is notable and fine to stand on its own as it is. Articles don't need something like 10 sources to be able to be a separate article—the song reached number four in Finland and is that country's entrant for the ESC 2022. Those facts make it notable, so if those claims are sourced, which they are, it's fine. What I'm saying is, please don't use "more sources needed" if you mean an article needs expansion. Thanks. @Ss112: Okay, I won't use this template anymore, but I didn't mean that the page needs to be expanded, I just thought that 4 references is not enough. Europe2016 ~ talk ~ Eurovision 14:14, 27 February 2022 (UTC)[reply]

DYK for Subwoolfer[edit]

On 17 March 2022, Did you know was updated with a fact from the article Subwoolfer, which you recently nominated. The fact was ... that the identities of Subwoolfer, who are set to represent Norway in the Eurovision Song Contest 2022, remain unknown to date? The nomination discussion and review may be seen at Template:Did you know nominations/Subwoolfer. You are welcome to check how many pageviews the nominated article or articles got while on the front page (here's how, Subwoolfer), and if they received a combined total of at least 416.7 views per hour (i.e., 5,000 views in 12 hours or 10,000 in 24), the hook may be added to the statistics page. Finally, if you know of an interesting fact from another recently created article, then please feel free to suggest it on the Did you know talk page.
