The content you added is to Outer Space is covered by articles such as Star and Gravitational collapse, with citation of sources. The information did not belong in the article where you put your edit, especially in the context of where it was put. The information is also sourced in the other articles, which would need to be here to show the progression is correct as well.
Helpful information about editing Wikipedia can be found on various Wikipedia guideline and policy pages including: Getting started; Introduction to Wikipedia; Wikipedia:Simplified ruleset; Wikipedia:Simplified Manual of Style; Wikipedia:Identifying reliable sources; Help:Footnotes; Wikipedia:Verifiability; Wikipedia:No original research; Wikipedia:Neutral point of view; Wikipedia:Notability; Wikipedia:Biographies of living persons; Wikipedia:What Wikipedia is not; Wikipedia:Words to watch; Help:Introduction to talk pages; Wikipedia:Copyright Problems and Help:Contents.
I am encouraged that you responded to my comments. I am also glad that you are learning about such topics. However, Wikipedia has gotten large and somewhat complicated by the number of articles. One needs to be sure a topic is not covered either directly in an article (such as in a different part of the page) or in an article connected by link. This can help avoid spending time adding material that is already covered, and perhaps better suited in a different article. That is especially true when the article is clearly linked. This can take a little time, but it can also save time and aggravation by not duplicating existing content. Such content can be distracting to the reader as well.
Do not be discouraged. I have not been able to put every fact that I have found in reading or doing research into articles. That is likely to happen occasionally. I think one needs to look on it as a learning experience even if it turns out not to be something to write about. Good luck. Donner60 (talk) 04:55, 26 November 2016 (UTC)[reply]
