Week 5/dc4825

I edited two different articles. The first is Media Linguistics and the differ is here. The second is Gene Targeting, and the differ is here. Summary: Gene targeting is a genetic technique that to modify gene to have a better biological role. It can be used for any gene regardless of size. Media linguistic is a linguistic study of language use in the media. It is a modern mass communication through digital network media. The population history of China provides an overview for Chinese demographic transitions over years. Week 6/dc4825

I edited two different articles. The first is Dark diversity and the differ is here. The second is Environmental health, and the differ is here. Summary: Dark diversity is the set of species that are absent from a study site but present in the surrounding region. Environmental health is the aspects of the natural and built environment affecting human health. I edited two articles with a similar theme, Islands in the Caribbean. I added some information on Aruba's protected area and corrected a minor error in Saint Bart's, please diffs here and here respectively. I am more confident with the process and even used to conversion tool to change km to mi.

Week 7 (Bonus) / AM12058

For the final bonus week, I further explored the editing of islands, such as the Venezuelan Archipelago Los Roques, please see diff here. Lastly, I edited Lemons Sharks based on the research found for the previous article, please see diff here. This exercise has been excellent as Wikipedia has a connotation that it is not a reliable source, but seeing how much time and effort is put into editing and citing, we can see it is a valid source of information that should be used properly.
