RFA[edit]

I'd just like to let you know that I closed your RFA because of WP:NOTNOW. I think that if you come back in a year, with thousands of more edits, you could have a chance. Also, don't hesitate for an editor review, as it will help you greatly. Also, note that you have confused an edit conflict the same way I have in my currently running RFA. Had you had many more edits, I would have let you keep running with the support that you had. Note my RFA and my mistakes. I figured out last night that I would've had a 93% support rate had I not messed up a template and my questions. In other words, although taking risks may seem bad, they are a learning experience. That's why I'm keeping mine in there, so that I can learn. My last bit of advice is to diversify what you do. I know that you edit album cover related pages, but there are many, many more pages out there that need fixing, so please don't hesitate to take the jump into new territory. Well, if you have any questions, please don't hesitate to ask. Happy editing! Kevin Rutherford (talk) 21:29, 1 August 2009 (UTC) P.S.-Don't clear out your talk page by deleting it. Future reviewers might think that you are constantly trying to hide something.[reply]

A tag has been placed on Brittini Black requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G12 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be a blatant copyright infringement. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. You may use external websites as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. This part is crucial: say it in your own words.

If the external website belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use the text — which means allowing other people to modify it — then you must verify that externally by one of the processes explained at Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials. If you are not the owner of the external website but have permission from that owner, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission. You might want to look at Wikipedia's policies and guidelines for more details, or ask a question here.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. ttonyb1 (talk) 03:38, 6 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

A tag has been placed on Good Happens requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A9 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a musical recording which does not indicate why its subject is important or significant, and where the artist's article has never existed, has been deleted or is eligible for deletion itself. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, as well as our subject-specific notability guideline for music.

Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the page does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that they userfy the page or have a copy emailed to you. Fair use rationales for album cover images[edit]

I noticed you uploaded a few album cover images without a fair use rationale. I have added a fair use rationale to some of them, but in the future such images without fair use rationales may be deleted. The {{Album cover fur}} template is a quick and easy way to add a fair use rationale. If you have any questions, feel free to ask me on my talk page. Thank you. Orphaned non-free image (File:Picture Imperfect.jpg)[edit]

⚠
Thanks for uploading File:Picture Imperfect.jpg. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of "file" pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. Shubinator (talk) 00:19, 21 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I swapped the image on the Wonder article because the one uploaded is not the actual album cover. It says "Wonder Tour" instead of the correct "Wonder". Please leave the correct image in and let the one you uploaded get deleted. Thank you. - kollision (talk) 01:37, 22 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Fair use rationale for File:Operator (A Girl Like Me).jpg[edit]

Thanks for uploading or contributing to File:Operator (A Girl Like Me).jpg. I notice the file page specifies that the file is being used under fair use but there is not a suitable explanation or rationale as to why each specific use in Wikipedia constitutes fair use. Please go to the file description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale.

If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'file' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free media lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Shubinator (talk) 21:06, 21 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Please add a fair use rationale to File:Lisamitchellwonder.jpg as well. Shubinator (talk) 21:07, 21 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]
