Evading the Wikipedia censorship[edit]

At this point I'd have to say that, Wikipedia policies to the contrary notwithstanding, the people who dislike Andy seem to have succeeded in getting this information expunged from Wikipedia. I suggest you put your rewritten article in dKosopedia. I can post it there if you're not familiar with that wiki. (It might need some rewriting to conform to dKosopedia's non-NPOV policy. Your version doesn't cover the allegations that right-wing enemies of his succeeded in interfering with his medical care.) JamesMLane t c 08:04, 30 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Please clarify this, because what you have written (non-NPOV policy) implies that, in order to be on dKospedia, it must be point of view... Sounds like a very reliable and accurate encyclopedia. - Crockspot 17:05, 30 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]
I was writing partly tongue-in-cheek. Certainly dKosopedia wouldn't let stand an article that stated, as fact, that Bush eats babies' brains for breakfast. On the other hand, dKosopedia definitely doesn't have a policy of NPOV. Its stated policy is: "The dKosopedia is written from a left/progressive/liberal/Democratic point of view while also attempting to fairly acknowledge the other side's take." The current version of FAAFA's bio of Andy Stephenson would be acceptable for dKosopedia, but would be improved by including some of the facts that would be ruthlessly suppressed on Wikipedia.
The reliability and accuracy of the resulting product is for the reader to judge. My personal opinion is that, on some subjects, dKosopedia is more reliable and accurate than Wikipedia. You would probably disagree. You don't appear to be part of dKosopedia's target audience. JamesMLane t c 01:04, 31 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Objectively, it's really not that funny. But your last line made me spit tea on my keyboard. Damn your dry wit, JamesMLane. Derex 05:41, 31 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]
LOL! I'm hoping to get a transcript of the HBO documentary this week. I just learned that much of the footage in the documentary is in the votergate video, another AfD up for discussion by the CT board. Votergate AfD Fairness And Accuracy For All 18:53, 31 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I don't know if this is the right place to discuss this... but "wikipedia" doesn't show a result for "Andy Stephenson" when you search... I came across this page accidentally. It also doesn't link from the page on the HBO documentary. I started to write a new page for "Andy Stephenson" and found this page through relevant links.— Preceding unsigned comment added by Elicious13 (talkcontribs)
