Greece Topic

hello Faizan Al-Badri... the use of the name macedonia to depict the F.Y.R.O.M. irritates a lot of greeks specialy since there isn't a solution about it yet! so at least respect what a whole nation supports and dont use that name in the official Greek page of wikipedia ? thank god wikipedia didnt give our ancient gods to india ! -.- seriously !

thank you in advance ! — Preceding unsigned comment added by 83.134.131.197 (talk) 08:56, 9 April 2013 (UTC)

Hello! Can you explain why you are irritated by it? Isn't the Republic of Macedonia on the border of Greece? Secondly your replacement of the Republic of Macedonia .i.e. " F.Y.R.O.M." is not acceptable. Faizan (talk) 09:00, 9 April 2013 (UTC)

Sorry but for us Greeks , the Republic Of Macedonia is not an acceptable name of the ex state of Yugoslavia, Vardarska. Checking the history around you will see that the whole history of Macedon is greek and even on the page of Alexander The Great (which they claim to be direct descendants) shows that he was greek. a solution on this matter has yet to be found ! until then the Greek Goverment and People does not recognize that country as "Macedonia" since macedonia is a greek prefecture of the north... instead the greeks , and several other countries still refer to Vardarska State as FYROM ! — Preceding unsigned comment added by 83.134.131.197 (talk) 09:04, 9 April 2013 (UTC)

Well, keep in mind that Wikipedia is neither of Greeks, nor of the Macedonians, neither of Pakistanis, nor of the Indians, it is the encylopedia of everyone, of the whole world, and we have to remain neutral here. Even in the Article of Greece, the point of view of the world would be presented instead of the Greek! For Example: In the article of Pakistan or India, we will have to present the neutral point of view with references to LOC, etc with respect to Kashmir conflict. Hope you got it, the Macedonians have right to rename their state. Faizan (talk) 09:22, 9 April 2013 (UTC)

2005 NYG Draft Class

I added the draft class in a table for the 2005 New York Giants and you have deleted it. It was relevant and correct and added to the current article. Why did you decide that it was not applicable? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 81.134.93.72 (talk) 09:46, 9 April 2013 (UTC)

Why you removed that class of 2012? Update instead of outdate! Faizan (talk) 09:50, 9 April 2013 (UTC)

I was editing using the template of the 2012 Draft Class on the 2012 NYG season page but forgot to take off the 2012 NFL Draft link therefore edited it to 2005 NFL Draft but then you deleted my work. Apart from that mistake it was accurate. Am not trolling or anything just want all the draft classes available on the season's pages. Please could you put it back on the page? The FAQ Template at Talk:Muhammad

Dear brother, the FAQ template (Q8/A8) at Talk:Muhammad contains a list of links to porno images. Is not it derogatory? And if it is, can we make a edit request to remove it? Is there any chance that this request will be considered ridiculous?--AsceticRosé 04:08, 10 April 2013 (UTC)

Ah... They only found the Islamic Prophet's article for these images? These FAQ's or the(Q8/A8) should be separated from the article or talk, they can be moved to a project page, the article of talk of Muhammad is not appropriate for it, I agree, we should do an edit request! Dominion Derby Girls

I provided links to the website for DDG to show the current teams. I guess I should have put them in references instead? Sorry first time editing. But the information and rosters as presented are literally years out of date. Here's the webpage with current team rosters: http://www.dominionderbygirls.net/ 64.128.78.220 (talk) 13:13, 10 April 2013 (UTC).

Good, and Welcome to Wikipedia, but... you need more practice, you removed a lot of content without explanation of removal, or replacement, secondly "Dominion Derby Girls" are! It is not like: "Dominion Derby Girls is"! Do more practice, best of luck! Faizan(talk) 13:16, 10 April 2013 (UTC)

I did in fact include an explanation - in my edit summary. As directed by the webpage. I will gladly add in links now. Also you are incorrect - speaking of the group as a WHOLE (the Dominion Derby Girls) it is singular [1]. The ending S makes no difference as it is part of the group name. 64.128.78.220 (talk) 13:20, 10 April 2013 (UTC)

Connecticut Huskies Women's Basketball

Hi. I wrote/edited the most of the Connecticut Huskies Women's Basketball page a couple years ago, and I am trying to add content about the last two years in a matching format. I thought I could finish the edits before anyone noticed the partial completion I had accidentally submitted. Please put back the paragraph that was written. I will finish the "2013 national championship" section another time. Also, The double break was intentional to format the title line to the left, and image was disrupting the format... Faizan, please remove references to Gengis Khan from the article Mughal Empire.

Great-grandfather of Babur (founder of Mughal Empire) was Timur, who had no relation to Gengis Khan, thus he was not legal ruler of his own empire, please read article Timur section "Legitimization of Timur's rule".

These people were Turkic, they spoke Turkic dialect called Chagatai, they had no relation to Mongol. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Ismet11 (talkcontribs) 16:20, 10 April 2013 (UTC)

Edits reverted?

Hello,

Can you please explain why you reverted my edits to the Celebrity Juice and The Jonathan Ross Show page? Both edits were above board and sourced? Did you actually click on the source links? If so you would actually see the links from the ITV press Office with the exact same guests that I added into the page. I DID NOTHING WRONG! For the Celebrity Juice one, someone has just readded the names for the episode but I reverted your Jonathan Ross edit as those are the confirmed guests for this weekend and the next. Please do not revert the edits and be sure to check the sourced material before you choose to revert and deem it unconstructive. Thanks!!174.89.240.61 (talk) 16:38, 10 April 2013 (UTC) samusek2

As per WP:RS, please try to cite reliable sources with your edits, you did addition of unsourced content, that's why it was reverted at List of Celebrity Juice episodes. And as far as will.i.am is concerned, I regret for my mistake there! Faizan(talk) 09:34, 11 April 2013 (UTC)

Did you even click on the source that was already there for List of Celebrity Juice episodes? I did not have to add another reliable source as the same source that was already there had been recently amended yesterday. I had added that source a few days previous and they only mentioned two out of the 4 guests and the source from the ITV Press Office, yesterday confirmed the two other guests for that particular episode. Yesterday, all they did was update that particular listing. So the source was already there. Please check sources before you revert something. I notice that you revert quite a bit. Please be careful with your editing just as I am with mine. Thank You. 174.89.240.61 (talk) 14:12, 11 April 2013 (UTC)samusek2

Tattoo

You deleted my edit on the Tattoo page about Christian pilgrimage tattooing. I have personally seen this kind of tattoo on Assyrians, the indigenous people of Iraq, and heard the direct accounts of Assyrians testifying to the details of this practice. The article on religious tattooing of pilgrimage crosses was hazy and mentioned "some Christians," and I added more detail. There is also a passage beneath it about cultural/religious tattooing of Balkans people with various Christian symbols. It was an appropriate edit, and I ask you to please undo your delete. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 68.48.244.80 (talk) 02:08, 12 April 2013 (UTC)

NHS Commissioning Board

Hi Faizan. I see you reverted my change to NHS Commissioning Board. If you follow the link in the History section you'll see that the organisation was renamed NHS England on 26 March 2013 (and I explicitly referenced this - pointing to http://www.england.nhs.uk/2013/03/26/nhs-england/), Hence I moved the content from the NHS Commissioning Board page to the NHS England page and turned NHS Commissioning Board into a divert. I'd be grateful if you could undo this revert - and you'll see from my editing history I have special interest and knowledge in the various pages around the NHS in England.

Reply: Talk:Muhammad/FAQ

Dear brother, I fear you've misunderstood at least two points which I should clarify to you to remove doubt.

  • The Q9/A9 section of FAQ is, in fact, in our favor, and not against us. This section says that Muhammad (SW) can't be described in the context of pedophilia. This prevents bad people from adding content describing Muhammad (SW) in that context. If you remove this, it will give people license to re-add commentary on Aisha's age to this article, which we don't want.
  • That "Criticism of Muhammad" page is actually a different thing from Talk:Muhammad/FAQ, and should not be discussed together. I've never visited that page, and so don't know what actually there is. But one thing I can tell you: some wrong-minded people take every chance to criticism Islam, and to misinterpret it. In this case, we surely can't blame Wikipedia as anyone can add content if they have sources. And it is this facility for which we the Muslims are able to create so many Islam-related articles.--AsceticRosé 13:45, 11 April 2013 (UTC)
Again, it is not the fault of Wikipedia. Wikipedia was compelled to place that FAQ (Q9/A9) so that others can't add content describing him in that light..--AsceticRosé 13:56, 11 April 2013 (UTC)
Actualy the faq is not saying him pedophile as u mentioned; rather prohibiting others to say him so!--AsceticRosé 13:58, 11 April 2013 (UTC)

The article Robert Cawthome has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Is being the director of the ISI enough to pass WP:GNG?

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Advisor.js and edits to hyphens in image links

Please be careful when using Advisor.js to make automated edits. In particular, take care to avoid making edits suggested by Advisor.js to hyphens within image links (or reference names, if that comes up) as these edits break the page. I fixed several image links that you accidentally broke on Yom Kippur War when you used Advisor.js on that page. I also did a cursory check of your recent edits, and found that you also broke image links on Bengal, Bangladesh, and Mughal Empire when you used Advisor.js on those pages. I fixed those pages, but you may wish to check your earlier edits for other cases where your use of Advisor.js may have also accidentally broken images. Google Earth

Hello, and thank you for removing vandalism from Google Earth. This is much appreciated, but unfortunately your repair was not successful in restoring the article to its pre-vandalised state. For future reference, it is better to deal with vandalism by checking the article's page history to determine how it appeared before it was vandalised. You can then restore the whole article, or the relevant part of it, to an appropriate earlier version. If you simply delete the visible vandalism then any content removed or overwritten by the vandal is lost. See How to deal with vandalism for details. Thank you. Secondly, I'm new user, require help...If you feel that any thing is useful you can revive.. Thanks — Preceding unsigned comment added by Asheemdatta (talkcontribs) 04:24, 24 April 2013 (UTC)

Hello Asheem! Please don't modify that list, your edit request had been answered, still you named it as unanswered, that's not fair. That list cannot be incorporated into the article as it's unnecessary, and an encylopedia does not contain this list, I can help you furthermore with any other problem else. Welcome to Wikipedia! Hi, you reverted my edit. American Vacuum Society is known only as AVS [2] (and http://www2.avs.org/). I think you may have been a bit quick on the revert button. 192.12.81.1 (talk) 08:55, 24 April 2013 (UTC)

Had some very serious doubts about WP last night (obviously) but walking away from a problem is not a solution. I'd love to see the anyone-can-edit policy go, but that's never gonna happen. So I might as well accept it and continue to mop up the mess it makes. Thank you both for your messages.  Yinta 10:39, 25 April 2013 (UTC)

LOL... Happy editing! Faizan -Let's talk! 11:04, 25 April 2013 (UTC)
Yeah, I also hope that only registered editors can edit Wikipedia. This makes them easy to identify, especially for those who are long-term contributors as their IPs change every now and then. I have already encountered one of such IPs. However, it is good to note that having a rule like this may not reduce the vandalism level by too much, as the lazy bums (IP vandals) will just create an account to vandalise. Arctic Kangaroo 11:09, 25 April 2013 (UTC)
Agreed... Then they will create accounts, as they are free and take no time. Faizan -Let's talk! 11:20, 25 April 2013 (UTC)
A confirmation email would take care of that. There are thousands of wiki's and forums on the internet and not a single one is as open as Wikipedia. Registration and a confirmation email are completely normal, there's no reason not to do it. I think.  Yinta 13:08, 25 April 2013 (UTC)
But even so, the same email can be used over and over again to create new VOAs. Even if you prevent an email used by a blocked account from being used for confirmation again, new email accounts can still be created to confirm new VOAs by the same vandal. Arctic Kangaroo 13:20, 25 April 2013 (UTC)
Nope. Proper email confirmation allows only one email address per account. Of course there are ways around that (make a new Gmail account, for example) but by then vandalizing is becoming a lot more work and the majority of them won't bother. As you can see on numerous other wiki's and forums. The vandal who really wants to vandalize a wiki or forum will always find a way in, but the majority will give up. It would certainly kill all the mindless TROLOLOL and HE IS GAYYYYY edits from anonymous IPs.  Yinta 13:32, 25 April 2013 (UTC)
Sounds logical. Arctic Kangaroo 13:34, 25 April 2013 (UTC)
And it works. I've been an admin on a very popular, and sometimes quite controversial, forum/messageboard (call it a European equivalent of 4chan). We had the registration rules as described above and it worked just fine. Didn't stop anybody from joining in and kept mindless vandalism to a minimum. It's quite simple, really.  Yinta 13:46, 25 April 2013 (UTC)

Haj and Umrah

Are Haj and Umrah the same? Or how are they different? Arctic Kangaroo 11:25, 25 April 2013 (UTC)

Ah. yes, they almost the same, just the difference is that Hajj's annual and is done in accordance with the Islamic calendar, but Umrah can be done any time, both are pilgrimages in which the Muslims do the Tawaf around the Kaaba, but there is a more reward for Hajj and Hajj is compulsory for all Muslims who have the power to do so. I'm so delighted that you are interested in the difference between them, obviously I will invite you to research more, to study more on Islam. Really they are peaceloving people and we have nothing to do with the terrorists. Just I will urge you to study more and just continue your search! And please don't mind my comments. Faizan -Let's talk! 11:34, 25 April 2013 (UTC)
Haha, don't worry, I don't relate Islam to terrorists. But just asking, why Middle East countries always have fights/bombings etc? Arctic Kangaroo 11:39, 25 April 2013 (UTC)
Actually you know Arab–Israeli conflict is the main problem of it. There are many groups in the Muslim countries who were formed just against this conflict and the reasons related to this conflict. These groups had the aim of attacking Israel and finishing it and restoring the state of Palestine but unfortunately the government of these countries especially Pakistan, Iraq, Afghanistan, etc opposed them or oppose their way of fighting and that these groups instead of attacking outside started attacking the government offices and the public. Do you know the 9/11 attacks were also based on the problem of Israel? They were due to America's support for Israel, only that is the problem rather, and do you know who are killed? The people were killed also Muslims! That's why the Muslim countries are so against America. Faizan -Let's talk! 11:45, 25 April 2013 (UTC)

New IP, Karachi

Hi Faizan. I see you welcomed an IP who made a number of edits to Karachi. The IP changed statistcs and the year of those figures without any reference or any other kind of evidence for the new values. I agree with acknowledging contributions by new users, but we also need to check what they are up to. Best regards, Rui ''Gabriel'' Correia (talk) 02:31, 26 April 2013 (UTC)

Well Welcoming them is the foremost responsibility, and the matter of statistics, is left upon you, if you think it's contra-references, please revert it! And thanks for your message here! Faizan -Let's talk! 05:24, 26 April 2013 (UTC)

Your comment about "finishing Israel"

Hi Faizan Al-Badri. I saw that you replied to the post I left on your page and as I going down the page to read it, my eyes caught a post about "Haj and Umrah". I stopped to read it and was a bit baffled by your comment about the Arab-Israeli conflict, specifically the words: "There are many groups in the Muslim countries who were formed just against this conflict and the reasons related to this conflict. These groups had the aim of attacking Israel and finishing it and restoring the state of Palestine but unfortunately the government of these countries especially Pakistan, Iraq, Afghanistan, etc opposed them or oppose their way of fighting and that these groups instead of attacking outside started attacking the government offices and the public". We are all entitled t an opinion, however radical it may be - personally I am no fan of either side -, but as an editor on WP, such a statemente would certainly cast doubts on the neutrality of work one does here. Is it possible that I am misreading this? if that is the case could you set the record straight? Much obliged, Salaam and Shalom (and for good measure, aloha, namaste, peace. Rui ''Gabriel'' Correia (talk) 10:56, 26 April 2013 (UTC)

(talk page stalker) Hi Rui, Faizan meant no offence. I was curious and just asked him a question about the constant civilian wars in the Middle East to know their cause, and he just gave me an honest answer in response to my question. Cheers. Arctic Kangaroo 11:01, 26 April 2013 (UTC)
Hi Arctic, I am inclined to believe that it was unintended, that it came out wrong. It is the part about "unfortunately" that makes it sound as if Faizan would have wished that the governments supported the groups in their quest to finish Israel. Perhaps he will shed some light. Regards, Rui ''Gabriel'' Correia (talk) 11:53, 26 April 2013 (UTC)
Excuse me for joining in but have you seen anything in Faizan's wiki contributions that justifies your doubts, Rui? No, me neither. So let's not jump to conclusions here. I don't want to start wiki-lawyering but I do have to mumble WP:AGF right now. Thanks,  Yinta 08:08, 28 April 2013 (UTC)
Yes, Yintan, I did WP:AGF - read "Is it possible that I am misreading this? if that is the case could you set the record straight?" and "I am inclined to believe that it was unintended, that it came out wrong." and "Perhaps he will shed some light". More WP:AGF than that I cannot muster before the other party has had an opportunity to say his say. And that should precede others joining in - after all, this is his page, not an article talk page, therefore primarily a dialogue (when he responds) between him and me. But your efforts and concern are noted and appreciated. Rui ''Gabriel'' Correia (talk) 08:48, 28 April 2013 (UTC)
Slight misunderstanding here. What I mean is this: even if Faizan meant exactly what he said about finishing Israel, that's still no reason to assume it "would certainly cast doubts on the neutrality of work one does here". That's what I was referring to with the AGF remark. And now I'm out of here. Cheers,  Yinta 09:36, 28 April 2013 (UTC)

Quite right - slight misunderstanding here. I never said there was any question about the neutrality of Faizan's edits. Very clearly, I said "as an editor on WP, such a statemente would certainly cast doubts on the neutrality of work one does here". There is a difference in saying that:

  • the neutrality is in question; and
  • something puts that neutrality at risk of being questioned.

If anything, this is an alert to him to deal with such possibility of doubt being cast over his work. It would be like a judge on Idols saying he hates singers with piercings and tattoos and then having to evaluate such singers. Has he or has he not brought upon him the possibility that people will question his neutrality every time he sends a performer with such adornments packing? Even if proven to be groundless, the veil od doubt will hang about. And that is it, enough said, I am also done here. Rui ''Gabriel'' Correia (talk) 14:14, 28 April 2013 (UTC)

I'm an atheist, should that cast doubts on my work at religion related articles? Should a communist stay away from articles about capitalism? Judge people by what they do, not by what you think they might do.  Yinta 09:32, 29 April 2013 (UTC)
(talk page stalker) No, this isn't about him being of a certain faith, it is simply about this quote: "These groups had the aim of attacking Israel and finishing it and restoring the state of Palestine but unfortunately the government of these countries especially Pakistan, Iraq, Afghanistan, etc opposed them or oppose their way of fighting...", and by posting it on the talk-page on-wiki. Please assume the assumption of good faith. It was just a friendly heads-up to take care about things which might prove problematic in the future. Cheers. Lectonar (talk) 10:40, 29 April 2013 (UTC)
I know it's not about his faith. What gave you that idea? My 'atheist' line was only intended as an example, nothing more, maybe that caused some confusion? If so, I'm sorry. And now I'm really going to put this thing to bed ;-)  Yinta 16:40, 29 April 2013 (UTC)
Cheers! First of all, I am sorry for my misunderstood quote, I was busy due to an Umrah at Mecca and due to a visit to Medina at the Prophet's Mosque. I really missed Wikipedia, and prayed for all my friends like you people there. I am back now, currently from a cafe at a bus station in Riyadh, on my way to home in Abu Dhabi.
The title given to the discussion by Rui Gabriel is not appropriate, as he named the quote as "my comment", it was not my comment, I just quoted the aim of the Extremist groups in the middle east. I am giving a few references here in support of my quote, that was never "my comment"! Please Read these reliable sources, mostly news, even from Israeli news agencies: 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, and 7. The use of the word of "unfortunately" was to condemn the conflict, and as a sigh over the violence in the Middle East due to this conflict and the resulting casualties due to clashes. And I am really thankful to the "renowed Talk Page Stalkers" for their wonderful and meaningful comments. Put it to bed now, and in the end, I am sorry, If my comment caused any confusion. Cheers. Balochistan, Pakistan

Hi Faizan, I noticed your contribution to Balochistan, Pakistan. However, primo, it is completely unsourced; secundo, it somewhat contradicts the etymology given at Balochistan; tertio, it was already removed once and by restoring it you are going against WP:BRD. I would like to note that the etymology proposed by you is, to my linguistic knowledge, false etymology and should be presented as such unless WP:SOURCES indicate otherwise. I will now move your edit to the talk page for discussion. kashmiri 07:55, 3 May 2013 (UTC)

Ok....Agreed, I am moving that text to Balochistan, with a "citation needed" tag! I will add sources to it later. Faizan -Let's talk! 17:28, 3 May 2013 (UTC)
Okay, even though I would still be hesitant to place this in an article. Ethnonyms are very prone to false etymologies, especially by speakers of other ethnic groups. ("Baloch" should normally be a word of Balochi origin; its later Farsi re-interpretation as "Ba-loch" would be secondary, and false). kashmiri 17:46, 3 May 2013 (UTC)
Eh.... If I succeed in finding a reference in support of that, it will be kept, otherwise obviously removed! Faizan -Let's talk! 17:48, 3 May 2013 (UTC)

Palestine articles!

Hi,

I'm new as you know (thanks for the welcome, I didn't know how to respond, there is no 'respond' buttom..) so I'm not sure if this is the correct way to talk about a page.

I noticed I 'undid' or cancelled a change that you had made. Probably because it took me too long to edit a page and in the meantime you edited something else in the same page, then i pressed the change button and it overrode your changes.

Sorry about that, I didn't mean to cancel your changes!

And thanks so much for approving one of my own changes, I thought it would take longer.

All the best,

Barahona

Barah1964 (talk) 15:44, 5 May 2013 (UTC)

And this time it's for real

Sorry my man, but I have really made up my mind. Last time you managed to drag me back, this time you won't be able to. I'm leaving the wiki, for the same reason as last time. It's pointless trying to turn this thing into a decent encyclopedia as long as they don't change the 'anyone can edit' policy. I truly feel I'm wasting my time here and that's a frustrating experience. It's been nice dealing with you and with your regular Talkpage stalker (Hi Kangaroo!), so thanks and kudos to you both.

Take care and goodbye.  Yinta 23:16, 5 May 2013 (UTC)

I hate to hear you are leaving. First and foremost, I have to disagree with why you are leaving. You are correct that there will always be vandals, but Wikipedia is reliable, as shown with this study, and a quick Google search will yield other such studies. You generally don't source Wikipedia (in educational essays, namely), solely because it isn't by itself a source but rather a collection of sources. I can't for the life of me find the article, but there was an internal study here at Wikipedia that showed most meaningful edits are made by IP users, and for the not so meaningful we have people like you. Then the bots, which as you know, are pretty accurate and only getting better with time. If you use STiki you'll see how good the algorithms have become. At any rate, your hard work is much appreciated and your presence in the community will be missed. Cheers mate — MusikAnimal talk 23:16, 6 May 2013 (UTC)

Nomination for deletion

A discussion is taking place as to whether the article Ash-Sharq is suitable for inclusion in Wikipedia according to Wikipedia's policies and guidelines or whether it should be deleted.

The article will be discussed at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Ash-Sharq until a consensus is reached. Darkness Shines (talk) 17:45, 6 May 2013 (UTC)

A word of caution...

I've been coming across messages from you on a number of user_talk pages which start off similar to this:

"Hello, a very warm welcome from me! Keep up the great work. I saw that you did a valuable comment at Sanaullah Haq..."

To me they read like promotional material aimed at encouraging other editors to side with your views about the Sanaullah Haq article's WP:AfD status and to then influence the decision process. That you are seeking out individual editors on their talk pages rather than responding on the article talk page and/or at the AfD discussion might lead one to question whether you are actively campaigning.

Please take a moment to familiarize yourself with WP:CANVAS.

I'm not a Wikipedia Administrator, just a fellow editor who wishes to make sure that you're aware of the WP:CANVAS guidelines so that you may give consideration to how your activities may be viewed by others.

To be frank, I'm not really interested in justifications or arguments defending why you've chosen to post these comments. What's relevant to me is that you've now been made aware of the guidelines so that you may give them consideration when making decisions in the future. Good Luck, --Kevjonesin (talk) 00:49, 7 May 2013 (UTC)

And you accuse me and DS of PA and canvassing!..You are caught red-handed for canvassing.....thanks Kevjonesin for getting it to our notice Strike Σagle 02:12, 7 May 2013 (UTC)
@Kev That was just a part of the discussion, I was just giving my arguments and trying to expand them. All my comments, on the talk page of users, came only after their entries at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Sanaullah Haq, obviously then I did not intend to get a "Keep" Entry from them, as they had already entered. WP:CANVAS deals with promotion illegally, but I tried to discuss and get the consent of the editors through references, and facts, and that does not fit upon the definition of canvassing. Anyway, thanks for your message here. Faizan -Let's talk! 09:55, 7 May 2013 (UTC)
@Strike I did not accuse him of canvassing. You need not to worry at all! Because I am going to give you a last chance, for those personal attacks! Faizan -Let's talk! 09:55, 7 May 2013 (UTC)
(edit conflict)Donot pose authority...don't presume to threaten me by your last chances.....my comment has no direct personal attack whatsoever..I am not the first person who accused you of e-mailing or canvassing....we just got some proof too.......you made direct personal attacks and canvassing accuses by describing with name....so going to AE as you are trying to threaten me will only lead to WP:BOOMERANG...I have added the sarcasm tag to my comment anyway.. Thanks, Strike Σagle 16:18, 7 May 2013 (UTC)
Don't worry Strike! I cannot pose authority, you are Welcome. Cheers! — Preceding unsigned comment added by Faizan Al-Badri (talkcontribs)
My tone would have actually been quite better had you not threatened to take me to AE and all that crap.. :) Thanks, Strike Σagle 16:23, 7 May 2013 (UTC)
BTW your red signature at the top of the page is messing things slightly when trying to edit the page.... ;)....maybe you can fix it... Thanks, Strike Σagle 16:25, 7 May 2013 (UTC)
Thanks, but those accusations of "dispatching emails...." were for WP:CANVAS obviously. I will fix that error on top. Anyway, now forget that! I really seek cooperation, not conflicts or such crap. And believe me, I think that you are in much aspects better than your friends! Faizan -Let's talk! 16:29, 7 May 2013 (UTC)
Said that, everyone knows those were for canvassing but you got no proof to back that up! :P...hehe..even I would say that...you are better than your friends..in my long time over here.. Thanks, Strike Σagle 16:34, 7 May 2013 (UTC)
Cheers! It seems that we were following Kev's piece of advice below! Faizan -Let's talk! 16:36, 7 May 2013 (UTC)
  • Remembering/learning/practicing not taking things to a WP:PERSONAL level might a great thing for most all of us to work on. No fighting, no biting, share your toys, and, when accidents happen, apologies are often preferred over excuses. :  } --Kevjonesin (talk) 16:14, 7 May 2013 (UTC)
Yeah Kev! You are right! That's why I even asked for an apology at my talk for an alleged PA, instead in the case I had been attacked, but I forgive, and I ask for it. Faizan -Let's talk! 16:16, 7 May 2013 (UTC)
