A tag has been placed on Psychoactive animals, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a very short article that does not provide sufficient context to identify its subject. Please see Wikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles. Also please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources that verify their content.

Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself. If you plan to expand the article, you can request that administrators wait a while for you to add contextual material. To do this, affix the template {{hangon}} to the article and state your intention on the article's talk page. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. Your recent edits[edit]

Hello. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you should sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. You may also click on the signature button located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your username or IP address and the time you posted the comment. This information is useful because other editors will be able to tell who said what, and when. Thank you. --SineBot (talk) 03:18, 27 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]

This is an automated message from CorenSearchBot. I have performed a search with the contents of Ilex yunnanensis, and it appears to be very similar to another Wikipedia page: Holly. It is possible that you have accidentally duplicated contents, or made an error while creating the page— you might want to look at the pages and see if that is the case. If you are intentionally trying to rename an article, please see Help:Moving a page for instructions on how to do this without copying and pasting. If you are trying to move or copy content from one article to a different one, please see Wikipedia:Copying within Wikipedia and be sure you have acknowledged the duplication of material in an edit summary to preserve attribution history.

This message was placed automatically, and it is possible that the bot found similarity where none actually exists. If that is the case, you can remove the tag from the article and it would be appreciated if you could drop a note on the maintainer's talk page. CorenSearchBot (talk) 01:26, 28 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Please stop editing List of psychedelic plants. I am really glad you are trying to help the project but right now you are doing more harm then good. Please review rules and policies outlined in the welcome message given to you at the top of this page. Thank you, and I am awaiting your response FinalRapture - 03:18, 28 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Right now you have seriously damaged the layout of the page. I think it would be best to try out wiki syntax in the sandbox instead of testing on a live article. You also must read up on the Manual of Style. FinalRapture - 03:21, 28 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]
You need to stop and read up on policies. FinalRapture - 03:24, 28 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Your contributed article, List of psychoactive plants[edit]

Hello, I notice that you recently created a new page, List of psychoactive plants. First, thank you for your contribution; Wikipedia relies solely on the efforts of volunteers such as yourself. Unfortunately, the page you created covers a topic on which we already have a page - List of psychedelic plants. Because of the duplication, your article has been tagged for speedy deletion. Please note that this is not a comment on you personally and we hope you will to continue helping improve Wikipedia. If the topic of the article you created is one that interests you, then perhaps you would like to help out at List of psychedelic plants - you might like to discuss new information at the article's talk page.

If you think that the article you created should remain separate, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag - if no such tag exists then the page is no longer a speedy delete candidate and adding a hangon tag is unnecessary), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the page does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that they userfy the page or have a copy emailed to you. Additionally if you would like to have someone review articles you create before they go live so they are not nominated for deletion shortly after you post them, allow me to suggest the article creation process and using our search feature to find related information we already have in the encyclopedia. Try not to be discouraged. Wikipedia looks forward to your future contributions. Deor (talk) 04:40, 28 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Editing here[edit]

You seem to have gotten off to a rather rocky start. Unfortunately, simply pasting in material that you've written elsewhere, without regard to context, is not a good way to make useful contributions to the encyclopedia. I recommend that you learn about Wikipedia a bit, by perusing the material linked in the welcome message at the top of this page, before wasting your energy further. Many of your contributions have in part duplicated material already in the articles, and none of them have included citations of reliable sources that allow readers to verify the material—something we take seriously around here. Also, although I know it's frustrating when someone reverts your changes to an article, don't just re-revert or (even worse) create a separate article to incorporate your changes; instead, discuss the matter on the article's talk page, seeking a consensus of other editors that your changes should be included. If you need help, there are a variety of places to get it here, many of which you can find by following the links in the welcome message. Deor (talk) 05:43, 28 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Please stop. If you continue to introduce inappropriate pages to Wikipedia, such as Psychoactive animals, you may be blocked from editing. If you need guidance on how to create appropriate pages, try using the Article Wizard. I42 (talk) 16:42, 28 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]

You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war. Note that the three-revert rule prohibits making more than three reversions on a single page within a 24-hour period. Additionally, users who perform several reversions in content disputes may be blocked for edit warring even if they do not technically violate the three-revert rule. When in dispute with another editor you should first try to discuss controversial changes to work towards wording and content that gains a consensus among editors. Should that prove unsuccessful, you are encouraged to seek dispute resolution, and in some cases it may be appropriate to request page protection. Please stop the disruption, otherwise you may be blocked from editing. I42 (talk) 16:43, 28 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]

You have been blocked indefinitely from editing for I've blocked you until you stop recreating these articles and engage in discussion with editors here about what you are trying to do. You can easily get unblocked if you make it clear that you will cooperate with others. One possibility would be for you to create an article in your userspace and develop it to meet our guidelines and policies before you put it in main space. Would you agree to that?. If you would like to be unblocked, you may appeal this block by adding the text {{unblock|Your reason here}} below, but you should read our guide to appealing blocks first. You may very well be trying to help, but you're not. Please take time to read the notices above, the links provided at the top of this page under the "Welcome" header, and the instructions prior to issuing another unblock request. Thanks. —DoRD (talk) 01:04, 31 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

The article Plants that are illegal in the United States has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Listcruft, cursory duplication of information already in other lists.

While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{dated prod}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. The speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. 2 says you, says two 14:15, 27 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]
