Peer Review[edit]

Summary[edit]

•The author writes to contribute to the “Equal Exchange” article on Wikipedia. The author is contributing information about the history of the company and about the current cafes that utilize Equal Exchange products in the United States.

Major Points[edit]

•I would be careful using a quotation (seen in the History section), as this style of writing is not usually seen in encyclopedic writing unless the quotation is directly addressed.

•I would also suggest the author removes the quotations around “middleman” to avoid it looking like scare quotes. Perhaps the author could explain the concept of the middle man instead.

Minor Points[edit]

•It looks as if the author has used a few different types of sources (articles, journals, etc.), which helps lend to the credibility of the material.

•Writing is generally neutral and does not impose any argument. Should be good to go on this front! Kk0061 (talk) 22:16, 22 November 2015 (UTC)[reply]
