Why can't I edit some particular pages?
Some pages that have been vandalized repeatedly are semi-protected, meaning that editing by new or unregistered users is prohibited through technical measures. If you have an account that is four days old and has made at least 10 edits, then you can bypass semi-protection and edit any semi-protected page. Some pages, such as highly visible templates, are fully-protected, meaning that only administrators can edit them. If this is not the case, you may have been blocked or your IP address caught up in a range block.
Where can I experiment with editing Wikipedia?
How do I create an article?
See how to create your first article, then use the Article Wizard to create one, and add references to the article as explained below.
How do I create citations?
  1. Do a search on Google or your preferred search engine for the subject of the Wikipedia article that you want to create a citation for.
  2. Find a website that supports the claim you are trying to find a citation for.
  3. In a new tab/window, go to the citation generator, click on the 'An arbitrary website' bubble, and fill out as many fields as you can about the website you just found.
  4. Click the 'Get reference wiki text' button.
  5. Highlight, and then copy (Ctrl+C or Apple+C), the resulting text (it will be something like <ref> {{cite web | .... }}</ref>, copy the whole thing).
  6. In the Wikipedia article, after the claim you found a citation for, paste (Ctrl+V or Apple+V) the text you copied.
  7. If the article does not have a References or Notes section (or the like), add this to the bottom of the page, but above the External Links section and the categories:
==References==
{{Reflist}}
What is a WikiProject, and how do I join one?
A WikiProject is a group of editors that are interested in improving the coverage of certain topics on Wikipedia. (See this page for a complete list of WikiProjects.) If you would like to help, add your username to the list that is on the bottom of the WikiProject page.

January 2021[edit]

Information icon Hello. This is a message to let you know that one or more of your recent contributions, such as the edit you made to 2019 Ponparappi violence, did not appear constructive and has been reverted. Please take some time to familiarise yourself with our policies and guidelines. You can find information about these at our welcome page which also provides further information about contributing constructively to this encyclopedia. If you only meant to make test edits, please use your sandbox for that. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you may leave a message on my talk page. Thank you. If there was any sexual assault happened , provide the citation for that claim.... That's all... Faster edits (talk) 05:48, 8 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Discretionary sanctions notice[edit]

This is a standard message to notify contributors about an administrative ruling in effect. It does not imply that there are any issues with your contributions to date.

You have shown interest in India, Pakistan, and Afghanistan. Due to past disruption in this topic area, a more stringent set of rules called discretionary sanctions is in effect. Any administrator may impose sanctions on editors who do not strictly follow Wikipedia's policies, or the page-specific restrictions, when making edits related to the topic.

For additional information, please see the guidance on discretionary sanctions and the Arbitration Committee's decision here. If you have any questions, or any doubts regarding what edits are appropriate, you are welcome to discuss them with me or any other editor.

Are u threatening me of barring from edits in Wikipedia, since I am a fellow edited I have the democratic rights to express my thoughts., Even in Wikipedia I just asked the citation for that claim , if not any citation there ,kindly remove your claim. Stop trying to threatening the fellow editors. And sorry, if I offended u. Faster edits (talk) 05:52, 8 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Did you read the above notice? No one is threatening you here. If you edit disruptively, you will get warnings and if you continue you will probably end up getting blocked. That's the normal process. SUN EYE 1 06:17, 8 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Bro just add citation for sexual assault or remove that statement ...that's the agenta here. Faster edits (talk) 06:22, 8 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Please do not edit without citation[edit]

A humble request to you my Palli friend. You should contain your caste pride and try to maintain neutrality. Ihaveabandonedmychild (talk) 08:22, 8 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Poi pusnikala otta podu. Faster edits (talk) 10:51, 8 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Please avoid profanities. Ihaveabandonedmychild (talk) 12:25, 8 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Just stop reffering peoples with their caste name. Faster edits (talk) 12:46, 8 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Is caste name a profanity? I have never addressed any fellow wiki editor with their castee name. I think anyway it is culturally a norm to use caste as a second name. I am still aghast seeing your fury. Ihaveabandonedmychild (talk) 12:52, 8 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]

ponparappi is my neighborhood village. So I know more things about the unlucky incident happened in that village . So decided to contribute to it.but how about your self?.. do you ever know the that person is handicapped or not , or even know about the charge sheet. If u don't have knowledge on that issue , just stop at that point. Stop doing edit war .... That's all. Caste was the problem there. So I said stop reffering anyone on their caste name. Faster edits (talk) 13:19, 8 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Unfortunately, personal anecdote don't warrant authority to edit without challenge.You should be ready for a healthy discussion to establish your viewpoint instead of resorting to name-calling in the face of diagreement.I still maintain the position that caste is not an ethnic slur as it is commonly used by Indians as their second names.There was no offence meant. Ihaveabandonedmychild (talk) 14:55, 8 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]

This is an encyclopedia project, as someone who has survived here for 15 years, nothing personal can be added unless someone else has already published it in reliable source (not anyone’s website), then you have use neutral language on top it. Contributing to an encyclopedia project is different from contributing to a blog. So passion is good, passionate Wikipedia editors is what we need, but have to follow the basic rules. No citation as usual[edit]

Dear Kaduvetti Guru fan,please provide citation, check for grammatical errors, and avoid impertinent details. Ihaveabandonedmychild (talk) 04:31, 9 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]

That sentence was not made by me. And that article is still under editing. U came in when I was editing and found a really bad sentence and frame me for that sentence.and thanks for your attention mr pumkin feitish. Faster edits (talk) 04:37, 9 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]
