Well, I've been always against overly complicated categories, where the reader has a great difficult to find what he wants. I believe we should have an "Imperial history of Brazil" (instead of "Brazilian monarchy"). In it, there should exist a category called "Brazilian royalty" and inside this one we should have "Brazilian monarchs". That's all. We had only two kings (Maria I and João VI) and two emperors, no reason to have a separate category for each duo. Do not create a category called "Brazilian royalty" and "Brazilian Imperial Family". If you're a royal, then you're a member of the Imperial House. You can't be one, but not another.

I don't think there is a reason to create categories for Pedro I and Pedro II. Neither for "Brazilian monarchists". Are there any well known in Brazilian republican history? Nope. The ones we know, such as the Baron of Rio Branco, Joaquim Nabuco, Saldanha da Gama, Antônio Conselheiro could and should easily fit on other kind of categories, such as "Politics of the Empire of Brazil" (with sub-categories for "Political parties of the Empire of Brazil" and "Politicians of the Empire of Brazil"), or similar.

I never had much interest on categories, I hardly believe many people look into it. They hardly take a look at the articles! The article about the Duke of Caxias is barely seen. Anyway, I wish you good luck. You should try to awaken the other Brazilian editors. We need to stick together. I had a hard time here because of blatant xenophobia. --Lecen (talk) 19:01, 8 April 2012 (UTC)

South Sudan

In the map, you created, South Sudan doesn't appear. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 190.239.220.18 (talk) 01:03, 12 April 2012 (UTC)

To begin with

Felipe, we need a place where everyone interested on bringing Brazil Wikiproject may talk and discuss what is to be done. I'd like to ask you to add your name to the list of participants of the Empire of Brazil task force. Add it to your watch list, I'll call others and you'll be able to adress all of them in one single place and share your ideas. --Lecen (talk) 01:03, 14 April 2012 (UTC)

re: Invite

Hello, Felipe. Yes, I'm interested, even though I've been having little time to spend on Wikipedia lately. If there are any other actions being taken towards the reactivation, please let me know. Victão Lopes I hear you... 00:09, 18 April 2012 (UTC)

Well, so far, included you and me, there are seven editors interested in the revival of Wikiproject Brazil. That's too little. I was looking at one by one of them embers of the wikiproject and realized that most have left Wikipedia for years (some of whom I still remember from my early days here). It was quite depressing. I wonder why they left: was it because they merely got tired? Or because they had no more time left? Or they found no joy on being utterly alone here? It must be awful tocontribute on articles for years and have no one to miss you when you're gone. --Lecen (talk) 23:24, 20 April 2012 (UTC)
Yes, I have one...it's my mother's, actually, but I ended up being the main user. Victão Lopes I hear you... 23:50, 23 April 2012 (UTC)
