Disruptive behavior[edit]

Hi, FemaleCorrin,

I’ve been alerted of disruptive behavior in Talk:Bridget (Guilty Gear), in which you resort to ad hominem attacks about account age and accusations of transphobia. You should know that Wikipedia is an encyclopedia first, and as such, the Talk pages are for rational discussion of encyclopedic evidence, not childish insults.

You claim that the accounts with opposing views from you are only a few days old and only have a few edits, and therefore their claims are unreliable. The fact is that these accounts are IP addresses used by unregistered users; IP addresses can change often depending on network configuration, especially if the user in question uses a VPN or edits through a Tor endpoint. So in fact, even if you can only see a handful of edits, the person behind the IP address may have made hundreds of constructive, factual edits beforehand. And besides, you may be knowledgeable on a lot of topics, but Wikipedia may already know all of it too, so whether you can edit Wikipedia is not a direct predictor of reliability.

Wikimedia Foundation’s Terms of Use prohibit “Engaging in harassment, threats, stalking, spamming, or vandalism” through its projects, such as Wikipedia.

Have a good day.
