Welcome![edit]

Some cookies to welcome you!

Welcome to Wikipedia, Ferts! I am Wysprgr2005 and have been editing Wikipedia for quite some time. I just wanted to say hi and welcome you to Wikipedia! If you have any questions, feel free to leave me a message on my talk page or by typing {{helpme}} at the bottom of this page. I love to help new users, so don't be afraid to leave a message! I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Here are some pages that you might find helpful:

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Oh yeah, I almost forgot, when you post on talk pages you should sign your name on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); that should automatically produce your username and the date after your post. If you need help, check out Wikipedia:Questions, ask me on my talk page, or place {{helpme}} on your talk page and ask your question there. Again, welcome!

Taura syndrome[edit]

Hi Ferts. You seem knowledgeable about taura syndrome and are probably doing a good job cleaning the article up. However, many Wikipedia editors, including myself, wouldn't know anything about taura syndrome. I agree with you that the article may be too long and over technical. If it is appropriate to have the technical bits, they should worded in a way that makes sense to intelligent readers, lay to the topic; with links where appropriate to technical terms explained elsewhere in Wikipedia. Whenever you delete text, would you please give your reasons in the edit summary, particularly if you are also removing citations. If you are intending to continue cleaning the article up (which would be great!), it might help if yon start a new section on the article's talk page, where you can indicate to other editors what you are doing :) --Geronimo20 (talk) 21:11, 2 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I have reverted your edits, since you seem disinclined to explain what you are doing. --Geronimo20 (talk) 04:24, 3 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks for the explanation! Keep up the good work :) --Geronimo20 (talk) 22:12, 4 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Aquatic animal health[edit]

I have no knowledge in this area, but I would be happy to collaborate and look after the Wikipedia side. There is an existing stub on enteric redmouth disease, a dreadful article on the fish furonculosis bacterium, and something close to bacterial kidney disease. If you like, we could submit each article for a Did you know entry on the main page of Wikipedia. If we are going to do that, then each article must be submitted within five days of its creation. We can get around that by creating a personal sandbox for you, and doing the initial development there. Bye the way, when you post on talk pages it is usual to sign off at the end of your post by typing four tildes (~~~~). This automatically converts into your username and the date, like mine here >>> --Geronimo20 (talk) 02:22, 9 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]
