What part of "Biographies of living persons ("BLPs") must be written conservatively and with regard for the subject's privacy. Wikipedia is an encyclopedia, not a tabloid: it is not Wikipedia's job to be sensationalist, or to be the primary vehicle for the spread of titillating claims about people's lives" did you not understand? Just because something can be sourced does not qualify it for inclusion, especially when it is a source of continual puerile vandalism meant to humiliate the subject. It is sufficient to state that she lost the contest without going into details. The event that you insist is notable enough to be prominently displayed in a person's encyclopedia biography is a common problem in extreme sports, most notably in distance running, and is not appropriate for inclusion in this case, where it has been used by others to denigrate the subject. Your edit on the talkpage, however well-intentioned compared to the gross vandalism that prevailed in the article, was a violation of the BLP policy, which applies on all parts of Wikipedia, and has been redacted.
