An article you recently created, 2004-05 Major Indoor Soccer League Season, does not have enough sources and citations as written to remain published. Please see our guidelines about sport seasons. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. A tag has been placed on 1993 Continental Indoor Soccer League season requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about an organized event (tour, function, meeting, party, etc.) that does not credibly indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Names of the competitions seems to be the problem here[edit]

Hi Floridaboy321 and thank you for your contributions. I'm still trying to work out what is happening here

OK, let's try a little time-line here. As far as I can see:

Should

I'm currently looking at 1998 Premier Soccer Alliance season, and wondering why "Premier Soccer Alliance" is used in the article title, as an example.

Your thoughts about this?

Note: this message contains text copied and pasted from the articles (whether in articlespace, in draftspace, or deleted) mentioned here. See those pages' history for attribution.

first off thank you for actually contatcing me instead of just tearing down my stuff like other people have already done and not repsonded to any of messages of why it was taken down (next time i do the 1993 cisl season it will basically be the 4th time). Basically the cisl ran from 1993-97 so yes the cisl articles should read from 93-97 and so on as for the wisl, what happened was in its first year (1998) the league was called the PSA and then before the 1999 season the name was switched to the wisl all the info about that is on the WISL "main" page.basically all i am doing is trying to make link pages from the 2 pages (CISL and WISL) to each leagues individual season (Floridaboy321 (talk) 19:45, 6 October 2019 (UTC))[reply]

Where did you have any "messages of why it was taken down" where no one responded to you? I'm looking and cannot find them. I agree that if there are questions regarding deletion of a page, the tagging individual should make themselves available to respond - but I don't see anywhere that you've asked any questions. Please work on the draftspace version, instead, to perhaps come up with something that is suitable for inclusion. Thank you. Waggie (talk) 00:21, 7 October 2019 (UTC)[reply]
ive messaged on the talk pages of the people tearing them down thats where,i didnt really know where to message and now this is the first response ive ever recieved, but the real question is why is this page being torn down over and over. it is a link off of the main page that helps support the main page and there are many other pages that are just like this one, so why is this one wrong? there is no more to work to do in a draft, the page is done and like i said is alike with other pages of its kind. so basically it becomes what needs done to get this page to not be deleted a 5th time? (Floridaboy321 (talk) 00:37, 7 October 2019 (UTC))[reply]
I checked your contributions for the last week or so and didn't see any such questions posted on people's talk pages, so perhaps you didn't get them posted correctly? The only such post I see is on Blaixx's talk page regarding 2018–19 Major Arena Soccer League season. Either way, the correct way forward here is to work on the draft. I'm glad that it appears some folks are willing to help you at that location. Hopefully they can help you get it going to the point of being accepted in mainspace. Best wishes, Waggie (talk) 00:47, 7 October 2019 (UTC)[reply]

i contested 2 of the speedy deletions with reasons i figured that message would be going to the person who put it up for deletion. Obviously now i know that it is ignored and now i know where to message to get a repsonse cause you responded now twice so i'm good on that. but back to the main point which is about the page being created and not where and how many times i messaged, the "draft" on my end is DONE and is a link of the main page of the topic supporting it and also there is other pages just like mine so like i said in my last message. WHAT NEEDS TO BE DONE FOR THIS PAGE NOT TO BE DELETED A 5th time????? you marked it for speedy deletion so whats wrong with it? (Floridaboy321 (talk) 00:56, 7 October 2019 (UTC))[reply]

Contesting a speedy deletion on the article talk page would be deleted with the page when the admin deletes it, but the admins do review any contesting before deleting - however they don't generally respond in such cases. Posting on a user talk page is a much better way to get a response. To answer your question, the page you wrote is not properly sourced, and only has one reference regarding the awards. It's not formatted per the manual of style that was referred to above. It does not indicate why this information is important in the context of Wikipedia, it's simply a set of tables with statistics. Perhaps you should review WP:NOT for more information? Also, please read WP:RS. I hope this helps clarify? Waggie (talk) 01:13, 7 October 2019 (UTC)[reply]

oh ok well thank you i can add about 5 more sources if i need to and wouldve if i had known to do so. as for formatted, like i said it is a link page off of the main page that helps support the main page and also there is other pages that are just like this one (same format) so why is this one being deleted? i will add a few sources to the page will that be enough for the speedy deletion tag to removed by you please? (Floridaboy321 (talk) 01:28, 7 October 2019 (UTC))[reply]

I figured it would be kinder to you if I didn't look at the other articles you created, as I suspect they suffer from similar issues. And again please focus on improving the draft, not the mainspace article. Bear in mind that when you add sources, they should be considered reliable source by Wikipedia's definition. Waggie (talk) 01:35, 7 October 2019 (UTC)[reply]
ok well thank you for taking the time to message me and sort this out with me, i will add a few sources to the page that is up for speedy deletion hopefully this is enough for it not to be speedily deleted (Floridaboy321 (talk) 01:58, 7 October 2019 (UTC))[reply]
If you're going to try that route, instead of improving the draft like I suggested, then you should add sourced content that shows the significance of the subject, not just sourcing the statistics. Waggie (talk) 02:08, 7 October 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, please note that there is a Manual of Style that should be followed to maintain a consistent, encyclopedic appearance. Deviating from this style, as you did in 1993 Continental Indoor Soccer League season, disturbs uniformity among articles and may cause readability or accessibility problems. Please take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia.
