Welcome!

Hello, FlyingSimurgh, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your changes. You may have problems writing in English, though. Did you know there are Wikipedias in over 300 languages? You may like to help at a Wikipedia in your language instead. Anyway, welcome to the project, and thank you for your changes! Caste[edit]

Caste on Wikipedia is a horrendous area, don't think too harshly of those who may have thought too harshly about you.

All the best: Rich Farmbrough, 20:35, 30 June 2019 (UTC).[reply]

Thanks Rich, and your right, I shouldn't have let it get to me the way it did.
Thanks a bunch :)

Reliable sources[edit]

Please don't use indianrajputs.com as a source - it is not a reliable source by Wikipedia standards. Have a look at WP:HISTRS. utcursch | talk 13:24, 2 July 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Also, please don't add unsourced content. Assertions such as this one (Magna est veritas et praevalebit being the motto of Banganapalle) need good sources. utcursch | talk 14:04, 2 July 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, I didn't add a source because I didn't fully realise that the Infobox also needed citations, anyway i'll add it right now. Also I won't be doing any caste related stuff so I won't really be using Indian rajputs. Thanks -flyingsimurgh

Disambiguation link notification for July 2[edit]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Rampur State, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Rampur (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

It's OK to remove this message. Also, to stop receiving these messages, follow these opt-out instructions. Thanks, DPL bot (talk) 20:52, 2 July 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Royal Ark[edit]

Royal Ark is not a reliable source (see WP:RSP). I think you should have seen an edit filter warning, did you see it or is the filter broken? Thanks, Guy (help! - typo?) 21:21, 7 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]

I saw a warning but I didn't realise it was for Royal Ark. Won't happen again. Guy -flyingsimurgh

October 2020[edit]

Information icon Hello, I'm Boing! said Zebedee. I noticed that you added or changed content in an article, Sayyid, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so. You can have a look at the tutorial on citing sources. If you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. Boing! said Zebedee (talk) 11:35, 21 October 2020 (UTC)[reply]

I'll also add that Wikipedia does not judge what should or should not be noted, we just state the facts as supported by reliable sources. Boing! said Zebedee (talk) 11:36, 21 October 2020 (UTC)[reply]

ArbCom 2020 Elections voter message[edit]

Hello! Voting in the 2020 Arbitration Committee elections is now open until 23:59 (UTC) on Monday, 7 December 2020. All eligible users are allowed to vote. Users with alternate accounts may only vote once.

The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to impose binding solutions to disputes between editors, primarily for serious conduct disputes the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the authority to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.

If you wish to participate in the 2020 election, please review the candidates and submit your choices on the voting page. If you no longer wish to receive these messages, you may add {{NoACEMM}} to your user talk page. MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 03:00, 24 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Please ensure you are familiar with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines, and please do not continue to make edits that appear disruptive. Continued disruptive editing may result in loss of editing privileges. Thank you. Sutyarashi (talk) 08:40, 11 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]

There's not a single evidence that Barha dynasty, Sayyid dynasty and Rohilla dynasty are interrelated in any way. Their origins are well covered on their respective pages, so don't push your POV there and don't do WP:OR. Sutyarashi (talk) 08:46, 11 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]
