I don't think you understand what the problem is. The quality of the "sources" you've provided is severely deficient. There simply is no evidence he either passes WP:GNG or WP:PROF. The links you've provided are of publications which he edited or collaborated with in some minor role, and which are not widely cited in the field. We do not need more links to what he's written. We need to know why he passes any of the criteria listed on WP:PROF (I highly recommend you read this guideline so that we can have a serious discussion and I have no need to keep repeating this over and over again), or otherwise any evidence there are extensive independent sources that discuss his notability explicitly. Hi FoCuSandLeArN Thanks for offering to help me out! Please could you tell me the reasons my Trevor Gray page has been declined again in detail as I'm still confused.

I'm wondering if it's because...: Sources are too list-orientated - discogs etc Too focused on 'apollo 440' references

Apollo 440 are obviously 'notable' artists but I'm wondering why the other founding members - Howard Gray and Noko (his sources are a joke!) - are OK having their own pages but not Trevor? Also note Paul Kodish's wiki page as the drummer of Apollo 440 where again the sources are few and list-orientated. Other musicians that have their own pages include Kirk Whalum who played sax on a Whitney Houston track but has NO sources on his page! So no verification! I'm just amazed Trevor Gray doesn't qualify if these pages exist!

That other stuff exists is not a valid argument; we have almost 5 million articles and only a few thousand active editors. Articles that need cleanup and face possible deletion are sometimes not attended to in a timely fashion. As for your particular case, we need extensive coverage from independent and reliable sources about him, not about the band. If you think he passes our WP:MUSIC or WP:GNG guidelines himself, then you need to provide edivence he does, otherwise the contents should remain in the band's article. You're on the right track. Per WP:GNG, we require extensive coverage from independent and reliable sources to establish the company's notability. My assessment was that the sources provided did not constitute strong enough evidence to establish this company's notability. The publications appear to be minor and local. I'm afraid I can't fulfill any of those requests, given all the other Tables, Ladders and Chairs events are not listed as you want them to be; and the Vengeance event only occured that one time under that denomination, and so would not need the 2007 disambiguation.   • In the italian article also there are some problems about this part. At the beginning, it was decided to include the farmhouses but at the end they were excluded. Maybe, it's better write "At first he wanted to include in the new church's borderline some farmhouses as Cascina de' Bastoni with the oratory of Maria Nascente, S. Cristoforo of Ottavo, S. Damiano, Sant'Albino, Sant'Ambrogio and S. Donato but at the end he decided to exclude from the property Cascina Bastoni, Cascina Sant'Albino, Cascina San Donato and Cascina S. Damiano".
  • "in 400° anniversary of the parish's translation" means that the copy of the ancient shrine of the seventeenth century was made to celebrate the 400th year of the translation of the relics of the Three Magis in the new church.
  • it refers to the Church of Saint Ambrose in Brugherio, which I'm going to translate, it is in draft Saint Ambrose, Brugherio

Also, I have a question about translation. Between the translation of Saint Lucius and this draft of Saint Bartholomew, which is the best one? GTranslate is good for a big picture, as a sort of guide, but shouldn't be copied verbatim, rather improved upon. I see you've started on Sant'Ambrogio as well; that's fast!     • "shovel on the altar" means altarpiece, I've already changed,
    • If there are not other problems or questions the article is ready to be moved

Hello there Wallyl22. The article has been accepted by myself and is currently located at Joel S. Schuman. As for Google, that's because it takes a while for them to cache the Wikipedia article and present it in search results given it is newly created. It will be available in the near future, but its placement on search results is completely up to Google's algorithms to determine. Hello there. I would just like to inquire what exactly is missing from the citations. As can be seen, multiple articles and websites completely independent of the subject are included in the references including multiple from Canada's largest national newspaper, The National Post. There were only two references linked directly to her site which are now removed.

I fail to see how National Newspaper coverage and many independent articles about an award winning, internationally published author fail to be approved.

To Whom It May Concern:

The message is in response to your comment that Brenda Elaine Stevenson does not meet the WP:PROF standards. According to the Wikipedia:Notability (academics) page, Stevenson must meet one of the following conditions. I have briefly addressed how she is qualified in at least six of those categories below:


1. The person's research has made significant impact in their scholarly discipline, broadly construed, as demonstrated by independent reliable sources. She has contributed to the field of slave studies and racial conflict studies. For example, she was the first scholar who contested that slave families were of a nuclear and male-headed structure within American slavery. She also was the first historian to publish a book about the lesser-known gendered influence that initiated of the 1992 riots of Los Angeles.

2. The person has received a highly prestigious academic award or honor at a national or international level. Stevenson has been distinguished for awards on both national and international levels. For example, she has received the Berlin Prize from the American Academy in Berlin; the Ida B. Wells Award for Bravery in Journalism from Women’s Enews; the UCLA Gold Shield Faculty Award; the Organization of American Historians, James A. Rawley Prize, Best Book on the History of Race Relations in the U.S; Gustavus Myers Outstanding Book Prize, amongst many other fellowships.

3. The person is or has been an elected member of a highly selective and prestigious scholarly society or association (e.g., a National Academy of Sciences or the Royal Society) or a fellow of a major scholarly society for which that is a highly selective honor (e.g., the IEEE).

She is a fellow of Gilder Lehrman, National Humanities Center, Center for Advanced Study and Behavioral Sciences, the Smithsonian Institute, Virginia Foundation for the Humanities and Public Policy, and UCLA.

4. The person's academic work has made a significant impact in the area of higher education, affecting a substantial number of academic institutions. 5. The person holds or has held a named chair appointment or distinguished professor appointment at a major institution of higher education and research (or an equivalent position in countries where named chairs are uncommon). She has been chair of both the History Department and Afro-American Studies at UCLA.

6. The person has held a highest-level elected or appointed academic post at a major academic institution or major academic society. 7. The person has made substantial impact outside academia in their academic capacity. She has been on numerous public radio stations, such as KCRW (Los Angeles), and feminist blogs, such as UnitedWomen.org and Cross-Generational Dialogues in Black Women's History, as an interviewee for her expertise in race relations and American history.

8. The person is or has been the head or chief editor of a major, well-established academic journal in their subject area. She is an editor of the Black Studies Journal and The Journal of African American History.

9. The person is in a field of literature (e.g., writer or poet) or the fine arts (e.g., musician, composer, artist), and meets the standards for notability in that art, such as WP:CREATIVE or WP:MUSIC.

I ask that you please reconsider publishing the article on Brenda Elaine Stevenson. If not, can you please provide me with feedback as to why she does not qualify, or give me some specific suggestions on how the article can be rewritten to meet the notability standards.
