Your recent editing history at Genesis flood narrative shows that you are currently engaged in an edit war. To resolve the content dispute, please do not revert or change the edits of others when you are reverted. Instead of reverting, please use the talk page to work toward making a version that represents consensus among editors. The best practice at this stage is to discuss, not edit-war. See BRD for how this is done. If discussions reach an impasse, you can then post a request for help at a relevant noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, you may wish to request temporary page protection.

Being involved in an edit war can result in your being blocked from editing—especially if you violate the three-revert rule, which states that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Undoing another editor's work—whether in whole or in part, whether involving the same or different material each time—counts as a revert. Also keep in mind that while violating the three-revert rule often leads to a block, you can still be blocked for edit warring—even if you don't violate the three-revert rule—should your behavior indicate that you intend to continue reverting repeatedly. User:Forest51690, you have made four reverts in 24 hours which violates the WP:3RR rule. To avoid a block for edit warring, I recommend that you undo your last change. Thank you, EdJohnston (talk) 13:54, 2 September 2017 (UTC)[reply]
@EdJohnston: I'm seeing four (groups of) edits, but only three reverts. Ian.thomson (talk) 14:05, 2 September 2017 (UTC)[reply]
  • Forrest51690, per WP:BRD, you need to stop editing Genesis flood narrative and start a discussion at Talk:Genesis flood narrative. That discussion should give policy-based reasons for including the material you've tried to add. Do not try to add the material you've been adding to Genesis flood narrative until there is consensus from other editors to add the material. If no such consensus forms, the material is not added. If you add the material again without forming a consensus, you can be blocked. If you try to add the material again within the next 24 hours, you will definitely be blocked. Original research[edit]

Please read WP:VERIFY and WP:NOR. These are fundamental policies which as a new editor I assume you haven't read and show how different are articles are compared to, for instance, those in a peer reviewed journal. Doug Weller talk 09:46, 3 September 2017 (UTC)[reply]
