Conflict of interest editing[edit]

Hello, FossieMaestra. As explained to you by Primefac in their response to your post at User talk:Primefac#My name is Fostina Dixon. Don't include the year I was born on any sites including Wikipedia., a discussion has been started at Talk:Fostina Dixon#Birth Date. to address whether your year of birth should be included in the article. Please try and understand that this is how Wikipedia works in such situations and you're more than welcome to join the discussion and explain your reasons for wanting the information removed. If you're not too familiar with how such discussions work, please take a look at WP:TPG for some general guidelines. You should also understand that even though the article is written about you, it isn't yours per se as explained in WP:OWN and you have no final editorial control over the article's content. There are processes in place that you can take advantage of as explained here and other editors are more than willing to consider you concerns in good faith. However, continuing to remove the content without establishing a WP:CONSENSUS for doing so or otherwise establishing that its inclusion is a serious and clear violation of WP:BLP will eventually be considered edit warring and most likely lead to (1) your account being blocked, (2) the article being protected or (3) a combination of (1) and (2). Note that this applies to you as an individual regardless or whether you use this account or an IP account to try and edit the article.
