Your articles[edit]

Note that you didn't quite do the links properly here. If you put a [[ ]] around anything it will automatically generate a link internally to Wikipedia. So you should have put those brackets around the titles of these pages.

  • Finance: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Finance I chose this article because I felt that the readability could be improved with general editing, and it needs revision with its citations.
    • I'm surprised to find that this is a really good article for his project. The organization and writing, especially in the history section need some work. Note that it is a branching article that links out to a lot of subpages (as it should), so some of the work that needs to be done is thinking about what information should go where in relation to these sub pages. A challenge, but a good one.
  • Zou People: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Zou_people I chose this article because it needs to be edited for readability, and is lengthy enough to where substantial improvements can be made.
    • There are some complexities with this article, but it might work. You'd have to carefully think about the WP:NOT issues and how this information is best organized to help and you'd want to be careful to work with the community who might be around.
  • Nicholas Tolstoy: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nicholas_Tolstoy I chose this article because all of its information is listed underneath one section. I think this page would benefit from being edited so that information is more clearly organized and easier to read through.
    • This is a great one. It needs to be converted into a readable, appropriate form.
  • Forestry in Russia: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Forestry_in_Russia I chose this article because it has a specific tag at the top of the page that states it requires copyediting. The page is not organized as well as it could be, and needs a consistent tone throughout.
    • This article is more general mess. It might be a bit of a problem that it doesnt quite have enough citations. You might need to do a pretty strong hack into this to really get it moving along.
  • Weather Warfare: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Weather_warfare I chose this article because it is tagged for being written like an essay; it needs heavy edits in tone in order for it to be presented as an encyclopedic article. It also needs light grammatical edits and needs to be organized better.
    • Another big task and I'm not sure how much can be salvaged. You'd have to push the article into a better form for future editing.

All of your articles are very big challenges, with more or less difficulty in getting them to rolling in a better direction. I'll go ahead and put the ones that are do-able in the WikiEdu dashboard and you can grab them there but we should plan on talking these through next week or so. Know that all of them need a LOT more than just editing for tone. You'll have to be bold here!Etherfire (talk) 19:30, 12 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]
