Hieronymus, A Musical Fantasy[edit]

My apologies for not yet figuring out how to add to a former discussion from August 2017 about deleting the article "Hieronymus, A Musical Fantasy" from the T. E. Breitenbach page, I would like to add my opinion.

I posted the original article, but neglected to back it up with references which I have since done. While there is no great call to delete it, only 2 suggestions, their main point is that this is community theater and thus of little importance. I think Mr. Breitenbach's work is important enough, that his foray into alternate disciplines is definitely worth noting. Furthermore, this particular production was done at a particularly large scale at an historic theater, beyond what one would normally expect from a community theatrical production. Most importantly, it was organized with the purpose of filming it for public television. I'm sure it will take some time to edit and distribute the film before it's appearance on public stations. I am also certain that there are more theatrical events worthy of note than those that appear only on Broadway.

This article contains content that is written like an advertisement[edit]

I am the original creator of this article on Mr. Breitenbach, which has been up for a lot of years without issue. Now there is a notice on top that suggests it "contains content written like an advertisement". I wish whoever posted that had been more specific, or had simply addressed the issue themselves. I cannot see anything in the article which is promotional or not written in a neutral way. The only mistake I made was to include a sub-article about Mr. Breitenbach's recent musical made for public television for which I neglected to provide references. I have since added them, and so if this is the issue I have addressed it and will take down the notice. The notice also mentions removing inappropriate external links. Except for a couple involving the musical, all of those links have been a part of the article since it's beginning, again, going back years. The only one which perhaps might be considered promotional is a link to the artist's poster shop perhaps? We could remove that. I figured people who are interested in this artist might like to look at it. Otherwise other included links to the artist's website are helpful and neutral because this particular artist archives and catalogs everything, and so all sorts of articles, films, etc. can be found there, as well as pictures of his paintings, which unfortunately I cannot use on Wikipedia because of copyright issues, and because those works are not available on Wikipedia Commons. And so, this is an explanation of why the notice will shortly be taken down. I don't think it is at all called for, and I haven't seen any further discussion about it. If you disagree, let's figure out where the problem could be.
