Welcome to Wikipedia, Frogg! My name is Ryan, aka Acetic Acid. I noticed that you were new and haven't received any messages yet. I just wanted to see how you were doing. Wikipedia can be a little intimidating at first, since it uses different formatting than other sites that use HTML and CSS. ethernet[edit]

I'm not native english spoken. So it is better that I explain you what I mean, and you write it in correct english. Thanks for pointing it out.
DIX Ethernet 2.0 becomed classical Ethernet v.II, both doesn't have Length field, but have the EtherType.
The other form is the new Ethernet 802.3 from IEEE with Length field and EtherType.
The meaning my be:

(sentence 1) Ethernet II is a modification of Ethernet DIX, so does not have the Length field

(sentence 3) As of 2008, most Ethernet implementations use Ethernet II
