Hi, I nominated this page for deletion because it is written in a promotional manner, listing excessive details, and contains no independent sources, only the person's own website. Please see the following guidelines for more information:

  • notability - it must be demonstrated that this person is well known enough to have an encyclopedia article
  • verifiability - any information in the article must be able to be checked by readers to know that it is accurate
  • reliable sources - content must be referenced to reliable, secondary (i.e. independent of the person) sources

As the article stands, it fails all of these key criteria. Thanks, Melcous (talk) 12:43, 18 January 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Dear Melcous Could you please be so kind to explain what exactly you feel is promotional information that way I can delete it. How do you interpret the links that I just put in to suport the text from the Amerika Haus Berlín? Sincerely --Fulfonso (talk) 13:31, 18 January 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Ok, an independent editor has determined that he is notable, so I have made some edits to bring the article into line with the manual of style. The biggest issues now is referencing. Having a long list of every exhibition and museum is unhelpful and what makes the article look promotional. You need to determine which of these are the most notable and can be sourced to reliable, secondary sources (that means newspaper articles, journals or books, not the exhibition catalogue - those are primary sources). Also, the goal is to write an article in prose rather than have a list. So if you can work on finding references and suggest them here or on the article talk page, I can help you add them correctly to the article.
One final question: do you have a relationship with the artist in real life? If so, you need to read the conflict of interest guidelines very carefully.
Thanks, Melcous (talk) 23:11, 18 January 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Dear Melcous, I met the artist because in 2002, thanks to internet, I was able to get information about his "Aekyad" series of sculptures. I have saved catalogues from exhibits of his which I saw in Spain. Also I have received from Douglas Abdell some pages from newspaper articles, photos and reviews from earlier periods of his work. From now on I will be sending references and their reliable secondary sources that are necessary for the article. I will write them in the talk page of Douglas Abdell and you can help me put them correctly in the article. In refrence to the prose texts, I will start by periods and the works that I know more, as done previously I will write these texts in the talk page. Thank you. Best Regards, --Fulfonso (talk) 17:55, 20 January 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Fulfonso, thanks for adding those references to the talk page, but unfortunately many of them are primary sources (i.e. catalogues of exhibitions etc). From my quick glance, the Symmetry magazine article and the brief reference in The Wichita Eagle look ok. (The Art Deal Magazine one is a blog, on which see WP:UGC). Can you please read the section WP:WPNOTRS about secondary sources and see if you can indicate more of those? Thanks, Melcous (talk) 22:52, 24 January 2017 (UTC)[reply]

December 2017[edit]

Information icon Thank you for your contributions. Please mark your edits, such as your recent edits to Douglas Abdell, as "minor" only if they are minor edits. In accordance with Help:Minor edit, a minor edit is one that the editor believes requires no review and could never be the subject of a dispute. Minor edits consist of things such as typographical corrections, formatting changes or rearrangement of text without modification of content. Additionally, the reversion of clear-cut vandalism and test edits may be labeled "minor". Thank you. Melcous (talk) 13:36, 10 December 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Dear Melcous, thanks for the information. I understand that I have not correctly used the indication of "minor" edit. I want ask you about the multiple issues tags in the superior zone of the article. I think the issues are solved. It's possible to remove the tags? Thank you.
