I'll will try to be nice, but it's hard since I hold Vets and those that currently serve my country near and dear and with respect. I think it is very one sided that you can delete articles when you want. Did you really have to? Besides the reason you stated that it was an event? Heaven help that we here put in something positive about doing something positive for the American Soldier. Even when then topic connects with other articles, yet they be few, it does connect. The article was deleted because it didn't explain the importance or significance of Troopathon. Before deleting the article, I tried to find reliable sources that might have written about Troopathon in order to establish its notability, but I couldn't find any.

After looking at the article and looking at your username, it appears that the conflict of interest flag came from the fact that the last part of your username (HOLLOW) and the first part (Mike) may indicate that you are a part of Somehow Hollow, which would be a conflict of interest. I will say that it (the article) appears to be a good article, but it does need sources to back up all of the claims in the tour section as well as the main header. Also, have a look at musician / band notability, and see where you can work within those guidelines to get approved. I would take those sources that you posted above and make them inline citations.   I most likely will not be reviewing the article again, as I like for fresh eyes to read the page (Except in cases of blatant disregard, like resubmitting without changing anything.) I would suggest getting articles from any magazines, websites, and any other source as long as those sources conform to the guidelines. Think of it this way: What kind of awards did Somehow Hollow win? Were they a top performing band? I'm sorry if this isn't the best way to contact you, I've been trying to work out how to respond to your message directly, with no joy! Firstly, thank you for your welcome message and your helpful advice. I'm afraid I'm still very stuck at the moment, and not sure how best to proceed to getting my article accepted and online (Centre for Religion in Society).

A1. Question has been answered in email string.

Q2. References: I have (I think) referenced the article using the web citation tool. I can't see where these references appear, so I'm not sure if I've done this correctly or not.

A2. References appear at the bottom of articles. When editing a page, you will notice that at the bottom of a page is usually a piece of code that says reflist. When using the Citation Tool, it automatically builds that reflist for you. I notice that in the article that you had submitted, there was no Reflist in the footer. I have gone ahead and added that for you (as you can see when you hit the edit button and scroll all the way down.) I will say that almost all (5) references come from the schools own website. Unfortunately, that would be considered self published, which is a no-no. What I would do is find some online/offline articles that back up the claims made in the submission. What amazing things has CRiS done that was notable enough to be covered by newspapers or online publications?

What parts of the editing process/new article creation have got you stuck?

Hello Franckstrauss and welcome to Wikipedia-en! It appears that the issue is about sources. The article in question doesn't appear to have any at all. What JoeDecker said under his denial is exactly what you should do in this situation. I will go ahead and quote it here for you:

Wikipedia articles, particularly those involving living people, must be backed by reference to reliable, secondary sources, independent from the subject, which provide in-depth coverage of the subject. It seems quite likely that such coverage exists, in other words, that we *should* have an article on Dumay, it's just a matter of finding the articles, and ensuring that the article actually conforms to what verifiable information is in those sources.

I realize that our referencing mechanics are pretty hard to use. The easiest way to start learning how to make references on Wikipedia is to read Wikipedia:Referencing for beginners, which includes a nice video showing how to use the RefToolbar, which makes working with references a whole lot easier.

WikiProject Articles for creation Backlog Elimination Drive

WikiProject AFC is holding a two month long Backlog Elimination Drive!
The goal of this drive is to eliminate the backlog of unreviewed articles. The drive is running from December 1st, 2013 – January 31st, 2014.
