File source and copyright licensing problem with File:AsunaSunfire.jpg[edit]

File Copyright problem
File Copyright problem

Thanks for uploading File:AsunaSunfire.jpg. I noticed that the file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you did not create this file yourself, you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, then a link to the website from which it was taken, together with a restatement of that website's terms of use of its content, is usually sufficient information. However, if the copyright holder is different from the website's publisher, their copyright should also be acknowledged.

As well as adding the source, we also need to know the terms of the license that the copyright holder has published the file under, usually done by adding a licensing tag. If you created/took the picture, audio, or video then the {{GFDL-self}} tag can be used to release it under the GFDL. If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Non-free content, use a tag such as {{non-free fair use in|article name}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:Image copyright tags#Fair use. See Wikipedia:Image copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their source and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have created in your upload log. Unsourced and untagged files may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If the file is copyrighted under a non-free license (per Wikipedia:Fair use) then the file will be deleted 48 hours after 21:48, 6 May 2010 (UTC). If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Sfan00 IMG (talk) 21:48, 6 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I noticed that you went through all of the work creating this template, but there was already a template called Template:Suzuki which led to a list of films directed by Seijun Suzuki. This meant some problems with the template. I renamed it and think I've managed to repair everything, now I just need to add links to it all over the place. Timeline issues[edit]

Hello, as I informed the ip adress, the re-added content is basically the car under a different name in a different market, so it is indeed cluttering the template with links going to the same article. Seqqis (talk) 21:21, 13 March 2015 (UTC)[reply]

  • As I informed the Ip adresss 99.243.38.30 and 70.27.7.30, it's not acceptable to the bloat a template with numerous redirecting links to the same article that is just about what the model is called in another country. So no, I will have to ask you to stop with adding redirecting links to the same article. Also, unless there's a article about the rebaged model on the other templates, it isn't acceptable. Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. A tag has been placed on Template:Mitsubishi Motors timeline 1980 to date requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section T3 of the criteria for speedy deletion because it is an unused duplicate of another template, or a hard-coded instance of another template. After seven days, if it is still unused and the speedy deletion tag has not been removed, the template will be deleted.

If the template is not actually the same as the other template noted, please consider putting a note on the template's page explaining how this one is different so as to avoid any future mistakes.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here. 182.30.205.201 (talk) 03:28, 24 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Disambiguation link notification for September 12[edit]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited List of Beano comic strips by annual, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Rasher. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)
