Question (again!)[edit]

If I create an article that *should* be in the scope of a particular WikiProject (or more), is there anything I need to do to get that WikiProject involved in the article? Or do I just need to add the appropriate talk page templates and I'm good to go? I'm referring to the article I recently created called strsafe.h which I believe would be under the scope of Wikipedia:WikiProject Computer Science. GSMR (talk) 17:02, 28 July 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Add the templates, and if you want help with the article, bring it up on the Wikiproject's talk page. ThePlatypusofDoom (talk) 19:05, 28 July 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Joey Dutton[edit]

Hi there, although I agree that Joey Dutton is likely a candidate for speedy deletion, I did want to draw to your attention that tagging an article moments after creation is a bit bitey and doesn't really assume good faith. This, of course, doesn't apply to things like vandalism or attack pages, but generally giving a new user 10+ minutes is a good rule of thumb. Non-Dropframe talk 20:38, 23 February 2017 (UTC)[reply]

February 2017[edit]

Information icon Hello GSMR. Thanks for patrolling new pages – it's a very important task! I'm just letting you know, however, that there is consensus that we shouldn't tag pages as lacking context (CSD A1) and/or content (CSD A3) moments after they are created, as you did at THinkWIKI. It's usually best to wait at least 10–15 minutes for more content to be added if the page is very short, and the articles should not be marked as patrolled. Tagging such pages in a very short space of time may drive away well-meaning contributors, which is not good for Wikipedia. Attack pages (G10), blatant nonsense (G1), copyright violations (G12) and pure vandalism/blatant hoaxes (G3) should of course still be tagged and deleted immediately. Thanks. Help request[edit]

Can I tag an article for {{db-spam}} if it's in Draft: space but obviously spam/advertising? GSMR (talk) 21:44, 2 March 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Speedy deletion declined: Brightside (band)[edit]

Hello GSMR. I am just letting you know that I declined the speedy deletion of Brightside (band), a page you tagged for speedy deletion, because of the following concern: collaboration with multiple notable bands indicates significance, use PROD or AFD instead. Thank you. SoWhy 14:19, 3 March 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Remove speedy?[edit]

I found this: INTERESTING ITEMS - keys, moving block, spike, bomb, pet, laser, monster.

BEAUTIFUL ART STYLE - A distinct and intricate art style, each piece is carefully drawn and animated.

QUALITY VOICE ACTING AND EHEREAL MUSIC - accompanied by gentle footstep when you move , just like that, have ventured in an underground castle.

INTUITIVE LEVELS - Increasingly challenging levels are carefully designed so you learn while playing.

EASY TO PLAY - you are able to manipulate gravity to move in the direction you want to move by Simply wiping the screen or rotating your cell phone.

I think this is spam, please let an admin remove the template. --DashyGames (talk) 16:19, 4 March 2017 (UTC)[reply]
