UWF[edit]

Hello. I unfortunately am going to have to ask you stop writing about UWF in your personal sandbox. Our policy on userpages (which applies to user sandbox pages) says that "Extensive writings and material on topics having virtually no chance whatsoever of being directly useful to the project, its community, or an encyclopedia article" are not suitable for inclusion. I recognize that you are passionate about UWF, and I myself am an avid fan of D&D: I have no grudge against fantasy. However, Wikipedia is first and foremost an encyclopedia. It costs money to host pages, and the Wikimedia Foundation can only afford to do this because people donate their real-life money. When they donate, they are donating in the understanding that the money will go towards maintaining Wikipedia, not a general hosting service. If you want, you can download the program that Wikipedia uses and create an entire wiki just for the UWF, including pages about individual characters, events, or whatever else you wish. I used the commands 'sudo apt-get install apache2 mariadb-server php php-intl php-mbstring php-xml php-apcu php-curl php-mysql' and 'sudo apt-get install php php-intl php-mbstring php-xml php-apcu php-curl', Which look like they went through, but there has also been no change to my device. I have never installed MediaWiki personally, so I am not able to help you. However, there is a list of ways to get help here. In particular, you can join the MediaWiki Discord server. HouseBlastertalk 00:06, 22 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]
