January 2019[edit]

Information icon Hello, I'm Girth Summit. I noticed that you added or changed content in an article, Green Jellÿ, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so. If you need guidance on referencing, please see the referencing for beginners tutorial, or if you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. I dont have a source aside from being invited[edit]

Bill Manspeaker asked me to join today. Gaddyman117 (talk) 13:51, 27 January 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Congratulations. It's not that I don't believe you; rather, I can't verify that this is true. We have policies on verifiability and reliable sources which mean that we can't just take your word for this. After all, here you are simply an anonymous user on the internet - I can't check whether anything you say is true. Presumably there will be an update to the band's website or a press release or something about you joining? Once there's something in print, we can change the article. Hope you understand. I have a convo screenshot[edit]

How can I email you this? Gaddyman117 (talk) 13:58, 27 January 2019 (UTC)[reply]

I'm afraid it has to be something published - something that anyone can check. Even just a mention on the band's website, facebook page or whatever would be sufficient - are they going to do this?GirthSummit (blether) 14:08, 27 January 2019 (UTC)[reply]
