Speedy deletion of Sodium chromate

A tag has been placed on Sodium chromate requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A3 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is an article with no content whatsoever, or whose contents consist only of external links, "See also" section, book reference, category tag, template tag, interwiki link, rephrasing of the title, or an attempt to contact the subject of the article. Also please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources that verify their content.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Chemical compounds

Hi and welcome to Wikipedia! The tiny articles about chemical compounds that you have been creating are likely to be deleted, because they don't really have any information other than the chemical formula. They are too short even to be considered stubs. If you don't want people to delete the articles you create, I suggest you write at least a couple of full sentences--enough to give an idea of why the compound is notable, and to provide some non-trivial information. Iron(II) chromate

Hi there

I've speedily-deleted this article you started. I originally wanted to rescue it, but I can find no resources (esp. MSDS) easily available. In any case, the Cr₂O₄^2- anion is known as chromite, not chromate. In future, please do not start articles, referencing the list of CAS numbers by compound; it is a circular argument to use other WP articles as references. Notification: changes to "Mark my edits as minor by default" preference

Hello there. This is an automated message to tell you about the gradual phasing out of the preference entitled "Mark all edits minor by default", which you currently have enabled.

On 13 March 2011, this preference was hidden from the user preferences screen as part of efforts to prevent its accidental misuse (consensus discussion). This had the effect of locking users in to their existing preference, which, in your case, was true. To complete the process, your preference will automatically be changed to false in the next few days. This does not require any intervention on your part and you will still be able to manually mark your edits as being 'minor'.
