Assuming that the edits from Special:Contributions/98.191.112.114 were yours, please be aware that you are NOT permitted to add commentary to a Wikipedia as you did in this edit. You were saying that you couldn't get in touch with User:Dr.K., but you could have done so merely by clicking on the links he provided in his signature on his message above. If you click on them you will see that one link goes to his user page, and the other to his user talk page; admittedly he may have confused you with his use of Greek characters. I don't think he got confused because he addressed me as Dr.K. rather than Δρ.Κ. I think he added a comma (,) after the "K" in Dr.K. instead of a period and couldn't find the correct username. See this. Δρ.Κ. ^{λόγοςπράξις} 20:37, 10 January 2012 (UTC)

Thank you for adding the bibliography. But it still remains unclear which material is supported by what source. The way it stands now noone knows what statements are derived from what sources. This makes it very unclear and confusing to the reader. Also books without exact page numbers are not very useful. I will not revert your edit for the moment but please make an effort to attribute the material to exact sources, including page numbers for books. Thank you. Hello editors, I am in the process of completely rewriting the article on Cyrus S. Eaton, 95% of which I wrote in the first place, and am glad you are there to provide oversight on the project. What I intend to do is remove everything there as of Jan 19, 2012, except the first paragraph, and replace it with a fully annotated article that includes the former information in summary form, and adds a good deal more to the record. I attempted to post a radical edit yesterday, and most of my work was blocked or rejected for the perfectly good reason that it lacked documentation, ie, footnotes. Lazy of me, but I was used to doing as I pleased with the article, whenever time allowed and the inclination hit me. Now, I want to keep you informed of my future plans so I have your cooperation and understanding when the time comes. If this meets with your approval, I post the complete, amended article, when it is ready, and just as a heads-up inform you of it in advance on this page so you know what's happening and can check to see I've kept my word. Then, I assume, you will approve the changes and let the article appear as I wish to see it amended.

For your information, I have been researching Cyrus Eaton for several years now, with a view to eventually writing his biography, and regard this wiki article as a sort of pilot project. I repent of much that I wrote about him on Wiki before. Let's just call it practice. I am onfident that the article I intend to replace it with is an accurate and fairly representative summary of his life, touching on the most important passages in it.

I would appreciate hearing from DR. K by return email, with any comments you may have, just so I know that we have an understanding and I am not wasting my time.

How to add hyperlinks

Hi Garry. You have done some really extensive work in the article but the hyperlinks are not working properly. First, you don't put little square brackets like [1], [2] or [3] when you cite facts. These are supposed to be generated automatically when you insert the hyperlinks in the proper format. So for example, let's say you want to cite the fact that Cyrus Eaton was born in Nova Scotia. You don't write: "Cyrus Eaton was born on a farm near the village of Pugwash in Cumberland County, Nova Scotia, Canada, in 1883.[1]" You write: "Cyrus Eaton was born in Manitoba.<ref>www.nseaton.org: Cyrus Stephen Eaton, 1883-1979</ref>" and then this will appear at the end of the article automatically when you add {{reflist}} at the end of the article. Simply do not add the <nowiki> tags. Example: "Cyrus Eaton was born in Manitoba."

Notice that when you click on the real hyperlink at "^" it takes you to the [1] automatically and the real hyperlink font size is automatically small. The article already has a {{reflist}} template which I added. So the only thing you need to do is add these references in the format of the example: <ref>www.nseaton.org: Cyrus Stephen Eaton, 1883-1979</ref>, after every fact you want to cite, instead of adding the little square brackets. ex. [2], manually. Don't forget to use the <ref> </ref> tags which designate the beginning and end of each hyperlink. Please let me know if you have any more questions. I will try to help out if needed.
