I noticed that one of the first articles you created or edited appears to be an article about yourself. Creating an autobiography is a common mistake made by new Wikipedians—as this is an encyclopedia, we wouldn't expect to have an article about every contributor. Your user page, however, is a great place to write about yourself, making sure to stay within user page guidelines. Just click your user name at the top of the screen when you are logged in, and edit it normally.

The page you created about yourself may well be deleted from the encyclopedia. If it is deleted and you wish to retrieve its contents, don't hesitate to ask anyone from this list and they will copy it to your user page. If your contributions to an existing article about yourself are undone and you wish to add to it, please propose the changes on its talk page.

User page

Sorry, but your user page does not conform to Wikipedia's user page guidelines. It is intended for basic information about yourself, your interests and goals as they relate to editing Wikipedia. Although a lot of freedom is allowed in personalizing your user page, it is not:

• an encyclopedia article (and should not be styled to look like one)
• a workspace for a draft article
• a personal website, blog, or social media site
• a space for self-promotion or other advertising
• a CV/resumé
• a lengthy autobiography

Hi Gary, I see you did in good faith try to follow the advice is in the Welcome message I left you but it appears you did not read the guidelines linked there (oops!). Your autobiography does not belong anywhere on Wikipedia, unless you do actually meet notability criteria to warrant an actual article about you. No offense, but I do not think you meet the criteria. If you have any other interests in contributing to the encyclopedia, please do not be discouraged. However, if your main interest was to write about yourself, Wikipedia is not the appropriate venue.
