I would like to dispute your decision. You are saying it's "Unambiguous copyright infringement of http://www.wowdolls.com/asp/en/bio.htm". Wowdolls.com as well as Potupa.com, Wow-Coupons.com are all websites belonging to me. You can check registration domain name on GoDaddy - http://who.godaddy.com/WhoIs.aspx?domain=wowdolls.com&prog_id=godaddy. All belong to me - Elena Potoupa. Here is my PR in his honor - http://news.yahoo.com/s/prweb/20090604/bs_prweb/prweb2498544. It has been my dad's wish to be in English Wikipedia.

He is currently in Russian (http://ru.wikipedia.org/wiki/Потупа,_Александр_Сергеевич) and Belarussian (http://be.wikipedia.org/wiki/Аляксандр_Патупа) Wiki. Hi there. The easiest solution would be simply to re-write the text, it certainly seems as if your father is notable enough to have an article. The other solution is to place a note on the original website states that re-use is permitted under the GFDL or released into the public domain and let me know where that note is (ie the URL), or if you hold the copyright to the material: send an e-mail from an address associated with the original publication to permissions-en(at)wikimedia(dot)org or a postal message to the Wikimedia Foundation permitting re-use under the GFDL, and note that you have done so here. I made this page. I placed the speedy tag. I don't always feel like looking up exact speedy codes, and the "author reqests deletion" code is one I never use. I realise that you made the page, but there's no harm in it 'hanging around', it's in Userspace rather than mainspace. Nothing links there (I seem to remember deleting the page that it was on), so if the user wants to edit it, there's no harm in that. GedUK  07:11, 5 June 2009 (UTC)

Request for lock extension dubiously denied.

I made another request following your suggestion I contact the original mediator. It was unexpectedly denied and this concerns me because the lock expires in a day. Here the response to the decision: diff. What is your opinion? I really think it is in the best interests of the article to continue the lock as its inclusion was a part of the mediation and since the mediation hasn't been completed it would logical to simply extend the lock. Ken Gillanders

Having an OAM is an assertion of notability. That's all that's required to get through CSD A7, CSDs have a lower threshold. If you don't think he's generally notable, WP:PROD it or nominate for WP:AFD. Hope that helps! GedUK  14:57, 7 June 2009 (UTC)

May I ask

Missing Normandy Weapons on ME2 Article

Two issues with that. One: My Xbox died recently, making the disc unplayable until it's repaired (a week plus). Two: I didn't think I'd be allowed to use that as a source (and I wouldn't even have a clue how to create the reference for it anyway). --Thejadefalcon (talk) 11:36, 8 June 2009 (UTC)
It seems like a decent source. Ideally it should come from a third party, but first party ones are fine too. As to the method, use the {{cite video game}} template. Use the version field to specify the bonus disc. GedUK  11:48, 8 June 2009 (UTC)

Relisting AFDs

When relisting an AFD, please make sure:

  • The relist is in line with WP:RELIST policy
  • You remove the AFD from the old day discussion page
  • You add the AFD to the new discussion page

Barbara A. Perry

Hello. Barbara Perry is the founder and is the current Executive Director of the Center for Civic Renewal. She provided her bio to the Center as she provided it to me, thus the similar elements. There is no actual copyright infringement, since the material has not been copyrighted by the Center. (If you go to the web site for the Center for Civic Renewal, you will see that they do not claim copyright on this material.) Also, the bio has been extensively rewritten. However, it's a bio about the same person, thus there are unavoidable similarities in the two articles (like the names of the 8 books she has written, and the 3 institutions where she went to college.) However, the Center is aware of the difficulty that I'm having with her Wikipedia copyright robot, and they are in the process of sending me a letter of permission which I will send to Wikipedia. I'm going to repost the article, and it would be helpful if you would not delete it and give the Center a few days to furnish the letter. When I have the letter of permission, I will send it to permissions-en(at)wikimedia(dot)org, and will put Barbara A. Perry in the subject line. Will somebody route the letter to you? I'll wait to resolve the copyright matter before reposting the article. I have the text saved. The email from Dr. Perry would be easier than the letter on stationery, but I can do either. The letter will take a day or two longer. This is my first Wiki article, so I'm learning the ropes. I have a number of other ideas for articles and edits. He had already been discussed at Wikipedia:Articles_for_deletion/John_Olsen_Lear where it was decided he wasn't notable. Do you have any sources that indicate that this has changed? I may have cocked that up slightly, which i blame on the heat here, but it was requesting a move that was claimed to be uncontroversial, but i wasn't sure. I think the article should have the English name, and that may have been the request. If it was, I'm afraid you'll need to find a more experienced admin than me because it's complicated page move I think because hisories have to be merged, and I don't want to cock it up again. Sorry!
