Orphaned non-free media (Image:A Curious Feeling.jpg)

Thanks for uploading Image:A Curious Feeling.jpg. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. RE:Uploading cover art

The same way you would upload any image; just go to the upload page and follow the steps. Make sure you name it well; for example, if the band is The Police, name it "The Police Synchronicity cover" or so. Cheers, Master of Puppets ^{Care to share?} 04:27, 21 December 2007 (UTC)

The full process is explained here. For Source filename" it is expecting the actual name of the file as it exists on your hard drive. It is probably best to use the "Browse" button to find the file. For "Destination filename" it is asking what you want the image to be named after it is transferred to Wikipedia's servers. BTW, the {{helpme}} tag is meant to be used on your own talk page. When that tag is used, it causes the page it is used on to appear in a special category that others can check to see who needs help. If you put {{helpme}} on your own talk page, with an explanation of what help you need with, then someone checking that category will come help you. SWAdair | Talk 10:57, 4 January 2008 (UTC)

Basically, like SWAdair says; source filename is the file's name on your computer. Destination filename is what you want the image to be called when it lives on Wikipedia. At first the destination filename will default to the source filename; try to change that, as the source is almost always nondescript. 'Image:Police Synchronicity' is a much better destination name than 'Image:3515ga.jpg'. Hope that helps, Master of Puppets _{Call me MoP!☺} 15:45, 4 January 2008 (UTC)

It might be better to develop ...And Then There Were Three... song information within the album article rather than creating new song stubs. 5 song articles were recently merged back into Nursery Cryme, and by the discussion in Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/The Fountain of Salmacis(Genesis song) it looks like those stubs will be deleted or redirected. / edg ☺ ☭ 20:23, 4 January 2008 (UTC)
