Maintenance tags for The Body Shop article[edit]

I put these tags on articles for a reason, namely, to draw attention to issues that need to be resolved in order to strengthen the article and make it more encyclopedic. They may be taken critically but the intent is to make the article a better one. The way to resolve these issues is to address them within the article, not by deleting the tags. The issues which I highlighted (except for quotefarm) are still present and are not going to go away unless:

  • Portions of the article are rewritten in an unbiased and non-advertisement-like manner. The products section fits the latter category, for example.
  • Remember that no one owns any of the Wikipedia articles that they create or work on. You are behaving in a very territorial manner towards this article. I am not particularly biased against the company, but from your edits it appears that you are particularly biased towards them. Another thing I should point out is WP:COI.
  • When writing about people on Wikipedia their last names and not their first names are used when referring to them.

I am going to readd the appropriate tags so that other editors know that this article needs some work. I suggest that you work to fix the issues that have been raised first and not delete them yourself without doing anything that is helping address the issues raised. Thank you. --BrokenSphereMsg me 02:32, 21 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I'll reiterate once again. Please do not assume everyone knows what you're talking about and pinpoint what you have issues with it articles. If you're going to participate in this then please add value, dont just quote policy. Thank You. I am repeating myself again and again here. Please see the article's talk page. Are you actually reading the maintenance tags? BrokenSphereMsg me 03:03, 21 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Please do not assume ownership of articles such as The Body Shop. If you aren't willing to allow your contributions to be edited extensively or be redistributed by others, please do not submit them. Thank you. BrokenSphereMsg me 02:50, 21 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]
