Request reason:

I am not a sockpuppet nor an "apparent sockpuppet" of Alexkyoung.General Lincoln (talk) 00:07, 12 July 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Decline reason:

I'm sorry, but I cannot unblock you at this time as this is a sockpuppetry and/or checkuser block. Check users have access to technical and personally identifying information they may not disclose openly on Wikipedia. Generally, behavioral issues are also a factor. I have reviewed the WP:SPI case as well as your edits. I see no reason to doubt the results. Please read and heed the relevant sections of the WP:GAB. If this is not your original account, you will need to appeal at your original account.   Dlohcierekim (talk) 00:45, 12 July 2019 (UTC)[reply]

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

ST47 and Hunter[edit]

User:ST47 and User:Berean Hunter: I know you are really furious at User:Alexkyoung for her pretty reckless actions as a beginning wikipedia user, but I just want to let you know that she recently messaged me, crying how sad she feels about all of this and how she wants to be given a second chance and readmitted into the wiki community. It brings me tears to see a young, talented woman like her break down over these pretty severe sanctions and was wondering if we could release her quickly from this torment.

To other admins and CheckUsers, I know to you that I seem like a sockpuppet of Alexkyoung but I am really a very close friend. As my editing history suggests, we share a lot of the same interests, about Asian culture and so forth, but I don't believe we should be punished for our interests. It is for this reason why we are such close acquaintances to begin with.

I created this account when I was visiting Europe, and when Alexkyoung contacted me over a week ago about her frustration with the History of Xinjiang article, I thought she could use a little help and support, seeing that she was being attacked on all sides. She is a really strong girl, so I hate to see her succumb to others like that without face.

I've read her unblock requests on her page and for her sake would like to confirm that I am (to use a somewhat interesting term) a MEAT PUPPET. I do this not for my own sake but for hers to let others know that there are people in the wikiverse who do support her. And I confirm that I am traveling in Turkey, so I need a VPN to access wikipedia.

One last thing User:ST47 and User:Berean Hunter, if not for my sake, then for her sake, please do support her re-entrance into the wikipedia family. I'm getting quite old now, but I know throughout life, both of you may have experienced periods of loneliness where you thought nobody supported you. This is Alexkyoung now. She needs our support and our love. And know that you two have my support too, for whatever you two are going through, God bless you. Because you are admins, you two must have worked pretty hard to get to your positions, so deep down I believe you are good men. I trust you to do good for our community and good for Alexkyoung. Thank you and Amen.General Lincoln (talk) 01:25, 14 July 2019 (UTC)[reply]

To the checkuser: Unblock Alexkyoung first[edit]

This user's unblock request has been reviewed by an administrator, who declined the request. Other administrators may also review this block, but should not override the decision without good reason (see the blocking policy).

Request reason:

To the checkuser, please see User:Alexkyoung's request first. I confirm that what she says regarding me are true. I am a close friend who decided to help her on some of her articles. Moreover, I am one user who does support her immediate unban and re-entrance into the community. Checkusers can confirm the location data.General Lincoln (talk) 01:18, 14 July 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Decline reason:

You appear to be admitting to WP:MEAT, and are solely interested in Alexkyoung's unblocking. As such, there's nothing to do here. Yamla (talk) 12:51, 15 July 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Please see WP:MEAT. Meatpuppetry is still a form of WP:sock puppetryDlohcierekim (talk) 02:23, 14 July 2019 (UTC)[reply]

User:Dlohcierekim, reminder that User:Alexkyoung has updated her unblock response at https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/User_talk:Alexkyoung#Newest_unblock. Also User:ST47 and User:Berean Hunter, this is important for you to hear as well: I've travelled to many places around the world, but I will still say in the least narcissistic way that Americans are some of the most generous people in the world. I don't know if all of you are American, but this is the image we Americans give. It has been at least 70 torturous hours since you last blocked her, and through that pain she has really learned her lesson. She knows what she has done wrong and wants another chance, and she is only a few months into wikipedia unlike others who have been around far longer. To ban indefinitely new users is not a message that wikipedia should be sending if they wish to attract talent and grow. This is not how we should treat new users, least of all a young woman. You can treat her better. As leaders of the wikipedia community, you admins are the role models and set the example. Please do accept the unblock request, and through your leadership, if she has at least support from you, the community will follow and understand. I support your edits, and Alexkyoung will too. She has given you every reason to show that she will change. Thank you.General Lincoln (talk) 16:41, 14 July 2019 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks for your note. It is in the hands of the check users.  Dlohcierekim (talk) 20:42, 14 July 2019 (UTC)[reply]
