I've tried logging into this account on a new mobile and I keep getting messages that my login was blocked as a precaution against hijacking. I also get an email notifying me of this attempted login, but there is no possibility to "whitelist" this device/login attempt.

I have tried while connected to the same WiFi as my PC (on which I am writing this message and logged in successfully) but still I get the same error.

Is it possible that your mobile device is failing to display a CAPTCHA challenge on login? —Jéské Couriano v^_^v Source assessment notes 15:09, 21 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]
I see no CAPTCHA.
I still have the old device and when I try to login I don't see a CAPTCHA. I get the error message, but strangely I also get a message that I cannot log in because I have already logged in (even though I'd just signed out), and when I look in the menu I see that I have logged in successfully. On the new device I just get the hijacking message and fail to log in. Genericindividual69 (talk) 15:57, 21 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]
@Genericindividual69 Requests like this would be better off in WP:VPT. Please move your request there. thetechie@enwiki: ~/talk/ $ 02:12, 22 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]
